Hey guys!
I have mainly played Horde and now when im “switching” to alliance for shadowlands cuz all my friends will play alliance, I don’t know what race I should be.
No alliance race seems cooler than the other to me like taurens for me in Horde for example.
The only alliance race I like is the worgen but I hate their running animation now.
Human look really good in all armor but I don’t now if I want to be human or worgen, or something else.
Racials is always good to have but you want to like the characters appearance.
I know it’s hard for you to decide for me but you can say what you play on alliance and why. And try to give me a clearer perspective of all the races.
And how do you guys decide on what race you want to be when you make a new character?

It will be Human for now. I tried worgen now for a couple of hours and I have always LOVED them but I can’t really stand their running animation. Also human looks incredibly good in gear and on mounts.
But please keep commenting what your thoughts are and what I should do in the future maybe. It’s always fun to now.

Lightforged draenei are by far the coolest race in WoW… I’m kinda envious of the alliance in that way.

Night Elf or Worgen imo.
I always go for looks only, racials are irrelevant to me. If they’re good it’s a nice bonus - if not no worries.

Ummm Gnomes by far are the coolest race. We are tiny, friendly and happy. Yet we kick backsides just as much as the big bad Orcs and McDonalds Tauren.
Remember that massive Zandalari fleet. Yeah us Gnomes did that. Enjoy being fish food Trolls.

So you decided to join friends ,smart !
Do you have alliance toon already ,by any chance ? if not you are limited to core races.
You said you like Tauren, maybe you would like Kul’tiran? They have good racials and look good overall.
If you haven’t unlock any Allied race yet, I suggest going Human for Rep racial.
Humans have various customizations; as you noticed amor looks great on them.
Personally, I like Void elves but not everyone’s into them.
i absolutely love kultirans and mechagnomes just going by the looks. transmog can be a lil iffy for both of them but i dont mind a lot. worgen is also a cool alternative.

I think worgens are really cool. Though humans look good in armor I think worgen will be cooler. Don’t really think the other races would be cooler. Dwarf and night elf could work too if you like them
Main factor is how tmog looks on the race. I don’t like male worgen because of how almost every helm look terrible on them. KT would’ve been awesome druids if they didn’t didn’t destroy almost every tmog appearances.
As for favourite … Nelves, dranei and humans imo. Perhaps gnomes if like vulpera they hold almost every 1h weapon on their back, I haven’t tried yet.
I like dwarfs the most,Cool Tyrants and night elves are ok too.

Dwarves got their magic dispell racial and kultirans can knockstun people off cliffs.

Mechagnome (obviously, the clearly superior upgraded race) > Gnomes > Dwarves (any kind) > Kul Tirans > Worgen > … > Humans.
Humans are boring. Whatever you end up choosing, do not play a human.

For Alliance i would go with Night Elf.
