Coordinates Addon

Is there an addon that does coordinates and coordinates only?

I like my UI and setup as is, and I don’t want to change anything. But I do want to add coordinates, without a lot of extra fluff.

I’d say TomTom is the best addon for this.

You can enable a little coordinate bar in TomTom’s settings and put it anywhere on the screen you like. Looks like this: https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/lDPMsaKfgUbKYnpCFBC0r6N28YIar4ETyEza7laAa6SKMjWAOwKfITP192DzLrhDI6fJ=s102

It also allows you to navigate to a point with /way [x] [y]or /way [zone] [x] [y] if you ever need to get to specific coordinate listed somewhere.

The addon is pretty minimalistic, it doesn’t alter your existing UI and only adds that coordinate display and an arrow when navigating to a waypoint, both of which can be easily removed from the screen.

Ok thanks.

This also lets me see coordinates on my map when I hover over an area?

I’m at work now so can’t verify, but i believe it does yeah. Might need to turn ‘coordinates on the map’ on in the settings first.

Yes, there is, and it’s not Tomtom. The addon is literally called ‘Coordinates’. Here’s the website: www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/coordinates . It’s simple, doesn’t do anything else, and shows coordinates just as you requested.

I enclose links in backticks (`) which parses the urls as code as a workaround.

I’d personally still go with TomTom though, it’s just as minimalistic, configurable, and allows navigating to a point as well.

Thanks for that, didn’t realize that was possible. And well, since OP was looking for an addon that’s main feature are the coordinates, I don’t think Tomtom is the best choice since coordinates is just a side-feature of that addon. Obviously it adds more worth, but it’s an unnecessary hassle if you don’t have any use for the other features, and I personally hate it when I’m looking for just one specific thing and can’t get it without having a bunch of other stuff dropped on me that I’ll never use (even if I ignore it it still bothers me).

If coordinates are a side-feature of TomTom, then what is the main feature?

Yeah, I guess saying that it’s a side-feature is an understatement since we’re talking about a map addon, but main point being it also comes with a bunch of useful/not useful features. Pointless to argue about it, OP can pick the one he wants more. Both can definitely get the job done, it just depends on personal preference and what you want yourself.
