Copying over ability and macro positions on action bars to another character

Meowdy!

I experiencing it being harder than it was before Dragonflight to copy over ability and macro positions on the actionbars to an alt of the same class. Before the routine was just to disable the serverside sync and copy the files from the WTF character folder to the new character!

But now that ability/macro locations are stored when switching talents (?) I cant seem to copy over my abilities as previously! I’d rather not spend an hour or so to put each spell/macro back in its place on my alt rdruid.

So therefore to my question, does anyone know how to copy over the ability and macro positions on actionbars to another character?

TL;DR Cant copy over ability positions as you previously could, does anyone know how to do it nowadays?

Use the addon “Myslot”. It helps export - every setting - basically, that you have over to an alt.
Just get that and then in game type /myslot (with the toon you want to copy from), and press “export”.
Then copy that text.
Then log over to the alt; write /myslot, paste it in there, press import.
