Core Void Elf Customization Thread

Bah make it all and let both use it! (Though its more complicated than that cause the models are literally different and it would all need to be resized and yada yada yada.)

I just saw this video, and i love the hairstyle!

would love a long ponytail for either void or Blood elves, or both. It could have a toggable tentacle option for void elves, for people who want a long tentacle lol

This is a lovely hairstyle! I do also love the long ponytail on Humans so if they want to give us some hairstyles from our fellow hoomans I’d gladly welcome that long ponytail  x https://imgur.com/a/ySJCRR3

I’m more partial to the Long hairstyle on a hooman  for the ponytail, it’s a matter of preference. I love a vast and loose crown of a hairdo, bit like Rapunzel (well not so much, but you get the idea).

So if there’s one that the Thalassians as a whole should borrow, it’s the waistlong night elf hairstyle. Now that’s satisfying to look at

The Kul’tiran hairstyles would be fun to have available. Along with tentacle options for them.

It would be nice to have a face full of tentacles, like the K’thir have or a tentacle arm Ra got after joined N’Zoth; Eye of N’zoth like exta eyes on various places (bit like Azshara) monstorous legs what the N’raqi faceless ones have, insectoid extra limbs with lethal pincers what the C’Thraxxi have on their back or wings what the various Aqir subspecies have (and the druid shoulder… I think it is druid one, or shaman?) More more more void-tentacles like our hair… Void-effects like what we had with the Old God Corruption powers…
But then I guess our Ren’dorei would be killed on sight…

I approve this thread. Current customization options are way too few compared to other races. A big thumbs up for the fan arts! Beautiful work there

May I lovingly present to you Voidberg?

By Lancelot

I don’t think it’ll ever happen but I’d enjoy having a toon like this.

And while I’m here… Why not a void elf who got a little further along the transition the Ethereals were trying with the trap?

By Somand

This one I would very definitely make a toon for.

Noo not Voidberg! :sob: :joy:

Just kidding!

I really like this option NGL, it’s so mysterious and voidy at the same time

I know the fanart is A-AMAZING. It’d be a dream come true to see customizations like this added in the game!

Rapunzel hair when please?! I don’t care about the clippinggg!!! Gief Rapunzel hair!

And yes hair like a loose crown are amazing as well they give volume to the top of the head and I love it! This is why I love the KT hairstyles so much they have all that lovely volume at the top

void elves has some nice long hairstyles, like the bang one.

would love to see more of those long hairstyles + long ponytails like the pandaren and Kul tirans.

Yes! I love the Kul’Tiran ponytails on the ladies! The KT men have some really nice ones too!

By the way did you know that across all regions 20% of the whole WoW population plays Blood elf? They are on 1st place and there are 24 races! That is a big percentage out of so many races. I’m sure a lot more people would play Void Elf if they were accessible to new players from the get-go and had more customization!

Void elves seem to average 9th position atm

He’s both so adorable and off putting. I love him.

Honestly while I’d have a toon with the look it’s not one I’d probably enjoy as much as the standard.

It’s a neat concept but overall probably too far from Blizzards intended look at our void infused race.

That all said he’s a wonderful work up of a few early customization options folk were requesting for more eldritch void elves. Claws, mouths in odd places, tentacle faces, third eyes. He’s got it all.

Now this one though. I’d play the heck out of this. I adore this concept and I think, while still a long shot, this one has more likelihood of being something blizzard might go for.

It feels like a nice connection between elf and ethereal and the only hesitancy I find I face is that blizzard would maybe use that as an excuse to never give us Ethereals as a race… Which I would like some day.

Also yes to these. (With built in tentacle toggle BLIZZARD)

I love the one with the little braid on the side, looks like Alleria’s hairstyle.

I feel like braids should be incorporated into new hairstyles for us for both just the fact that Alleria is a thing but also for folk who want braids for their high elves.

I personally also want to see some hairstyles with dreadlocks for both void and high elf reasons.

Are there a freedom of relegion in the Alliance (or in the Horde? The Horde have the orcish ancestor and spirit/element worship, the Trolls worship the Loa “pantheon”, the Tauren the Earth-Mother, the Goblins the all-mighty mullah, the Vulpera have ancestor and a bit Loa worship, the Forsaken had Sylvanas and the Elves worship themselves) ?
It is against any law to worship the Old Gods as long as you do it a civilizied manner eg. not running around naked and insane, yelling “The Ducks are coming! The Ducks are coming!” or randomly stab and sacrifice people on the street?
Just wondering

As far as I know and based on what we see the Horde and Alliance do not restrict what a people worship. Their alliances between their factions/countries are not binding in that way.

Each retains their specific cultures, religions, standing armies, territory and so on.

They effectively submit troops to the Horde or Alliance military, link up trade routes and open their borders to one another as far as I can tell with the added caveat that they must abide overreaching decisions by each group.

Depending on timeframe each one had either answered to a singular leader or to a council made up of representatives (usually the leaders) of each member group. The Horde used to answer mostly to their Warchief, the Alliance used to have a council between all leaders. Eventually the Alliance ended up with a High King to focus control and the Horde has recently begun to try out a Council of Horde leaders.

I do not believe to that end that any law exists to restrict worship of the void in any format, however the cultures and groups involved with the Alliance and Horde do tend to look upon the void as a dangerous and corruptive power that they are very leery of, sometimes it seems to me, even more so than Fel.

So I’d expect so long as you, a shadow priest, weren’t doing anything that was hostile or… insane… you probably wouldn’t be stopped but you might be ostracized a bit depending on culture.

Void Elves, Forsaken, Orcs*, Mag’har and Worgen** all have shadowcasters within the lore and game and I doubt these cultures will treat you with as much if any concern. (Unless you’re trying to kill folk or hurt folk or acting insane).

*Orcs in the main timeline may have more misgivings about the shadow as they seem to see it as dark magic like fel is.

** Worgen shadowcasters tend to exist among the Feral worgen more often than with the Gilnean’s so this might change depending on which group you’re working with either the Gilnean ones or those ferals who have recovered their minds in whatever way.

Keep in mind this is all as I understand it and what I see in the lore. Take it with that grain of salt.

I appreciate the assumption that I’d know these things but why reply to me particularly?
