Not true at all. Your item level is the base on which all the % increases stack. The higher this is the more crazy things become.

My char has 1.2k int. A 220 char has about 1.5k. Now start stacking multipliers on them and the power gap grows massively.

Your power will still be insane.

And what is even more important is getting the right powers.

Bis powers on a ilvl 200 = Win. Especially on certain classes.

Bad powers on a ilvl 218 = Chances to get oneshot by nonelites trash.

I’m living proof anyone can solo it. I’m not a good player an managed to.

Trouble with a lot of groups now is they try and rush twisting- which seems great for the first 15 floors or so, and then suddenly players start dying like flies (or they get lucky, make it to 17, and die like flies, or reach final boss and die).
Avoid any twisting group that says ‘rush’. It won’t be, it will more likely be ‘wipe’.
As a prot pally it’s a walk in the park. Just take every HP item over anything else every time and understand how your class works and you should be able to solo it (depending on final boss, one of them is a real pain solo) on around 200 ilvl.

Oh, and learn the basic mechanics of the mobs and don’t stand in the way of those little dots on the floor in floor 17…tends to oneshot you…

I did the bulk of mine over two days. I did everything apart from the first layer in random groups .

TC8 took me three goes and the first floor bugged on me and I had to run it twice.

Some friends have run it solo, I preferred groups as it seemed much faster.

Literally solo’d the entire thing within first week of twisting corridor being available, with around 205 ilvl, stop making it sound more difficult than it really is :S

Please make the Corridor Creeper mount available after completing at least the 1st layer of Twisting Corridors in Torghast.

It’s almost impossible to solo all 8 layers and all the random LFG groups I went with failed in the end.

I went with a Prot Pala 220 ilvl and I was a healer. He told me not heal him because I’d get aggro as he couldn’t die as prot. And he did not, in a group, when mobs hit harder. There are certain builds each class has. You need to find out which one is for Prot Paladins. You are 210 ilvl. You are doing something wrong.

As to Corridor Creeper drop, it would be fair if it has dropped after each layer but drop rate would start from let’s say 12.5% after layer 1 which would be increased by 12.5% per layer and eventually would be 100% in layer 8. This way everyone would have a small chance to get it.

While 7 and 8 iare much harder, It all depends on anima powers. For me layer 6 was hard, layer 7 was the short and easy run but 8 became impossible without certain powers.

Team up with a demo lock, reset until he/she gets the Pact of Intimacy Anima Power on the first floor, and then the Felguard will basicly solo carry the run (unless the lock manages to die/let it die)
