Corridor Creeper - get the mount after completing 1st layer

Hello,

Please make the Corridor Creeper mount available after completing at least the 1st layer of Twisting Corridors in Torghast.

It’s almost impossible to solo all 8 layers and all the random LFG groups I went with failed in the end.

Ok.
For the hardcore PVE players you have mounts for completing the keystone +15 Mythic.
For the hardcore PVP players you have the gladiator mounts.

What is this b||t ugly corridor creep for ? The hardcore quest players ??? It’s just an utility to spend less time doing some of the worst content ever created in wow. In order to have it, you must spend more time in some of the worst ever wow content.

Whole point of it is it being the reward at the end of the challenge…

There’s the mount off Shadehounds if you want the ‘easy’ one, despite it being a low drop rate… :stuck_out_tongue:

And if you just want it to mount in the maw just wait for 9.1 and you won’t have to go through the trouble at all

No its not. Anyone can do it, your itemlevel and gear matters only in the first couple of floors and then anima powers takes completely over.

Groups tend to rush it. Resulting in not taking all the powers and in alot of stupid deaths.

Find out wich powers is bis for your spec, even better: Go in and out until you get Mort`regar as first floor and pray for a certain elite that has a 100% drop chance on a power that makes 25% hp the maximum any strike can hit you.

Take hp and defensive powers. No use in doing high dps if you dont have survivalability.

My sintouched deathwalker does not work in the maw.

Well idk man, the first time I went there I did the first 11 floors without a sweat, I think I didn’t even die once, only to reach the second boss on floor 12 and have all my deaths there, it was ridiculous how effortless I did all those floors just to get completely stomped by that boss.

It even took away my will to come back, all the time spent on those 11 floors just to get crushed and get nothing for it.

Same happened to me, only to get oneshotted on floor 14 on layer 1.

Did it again, got 200k hp and solid defensives. Went through 3-4-5-6 with no big problems, learned wich AP that was good for me.

Failed one time on l7, and then did it.

I knew by then the max25% hp hit was insanely good, so i went in and out until i had this on first floor and last boss on l8 didnt even get my hp down a bit.

This power drops from a rare in mortregar. Other than that Coldheart inerstatia offers very solid defensive powers.

I don’t think I have ever seen that one.
I guess I’ll try again, eventually.

Mort`regar wing. I went in and out until i got it on first floor.

Rares name is “Wailing death” its placed one one of those platforms you walk to on a chain.

Rare will not show up every time, but ive gotten it a good amount of times so its not so rare. Drop chance is 100%.

Stacked with good defensives you become basically immortal.

I’m really sorry to break this to you, but you are posting this on a 210+ item level Prot Paladin.

As prot at that gear, it’s almost impossible to die in Layer 8, not almost impossible to solo.

You must have mixed up the wording I guess.

If you mean for another class and spec I don’t know, I doubt it’s as hard as you say but it might be a bit more challenging than a free win.

If you’re unironically struggling to breeze through TC as a geared prot paladin you are either intentionally picking bad anima powers or you have absolutely no idea how your class works.

Do you want mine ?.. I’m not using it anyway.

shocked to find so many elitists trying to gatekeep a reward from a CuStoMeR!

give him all mounts and all mogs, he is already seen them on wowhead, whats the point of these artificial walls of requirement you impose between him and just HaVing FUn?

I have done it solo, it is inpossible only in your head.

The what now?

It wasn’t exactly challenging to solo it. I expected it to be harder than it actually was because they said they buffed it from the beta.

Then why I see so many people running around with mount every time I go to The Maw? If you can’t complete it first run try harder and do another.
If you can’t bother with it don’t do it and wait until next patch, you don’t need the mount at all.

You are way better geared than me. I did it solo with nothing but open world gear (upgraded covenant-set and one lucky world boss drop) at ilvl 197.

You should be able to breeze through it as protection with your gear.

Edit: The good news is that not being able to complete TC L8 is not because of your gear, so all you need is some practice.
I resat the run so that Skoldus Hall or Fracture Chambers were the first floors as this stacking debuff isn’t that annying to deal with at higher floors. Try to gather at least 250 pantasma and buy a ravenous orb. Use this on one of the mobs that give you the power that gives you 100x more Phantasma from skeletons. This will give you a metric ton of phantasma to use on abilities.

Clear everything, every bit of power helps. Aim for 3 Charges of Hammer of Wrath, the ability that extends Awenging Wrath with 3(?) seconds when HoW is used and effectiveness of Awenging Wrath.
Pick HP over offensive abilities when you have the choice.

213 item level, prot paladin and you cannot solo torghast??

With 9.1 you can use all ground mounts in the maw without torgast

Not true at all. Your item level is the base on which all the % increases stack. The higher this is the more crazy things become.

My char has 1.2k int. A 220 char has about 1.5k. Now start stacking multipliers on them and the power gap grows massively.

wich is sad, they shouldnt do this. it breaks their own idea really.
let ppl work for their mount, i remember in WOTLK you HAD to work for you 310% flying speed or you were stuck at 280% speed.

if you didnt get the protodrake mount achievement you couldnt get 310% speed and this was a very nice addition to the game.

It’s just a mount, you don’t need it.
