I think we need more BoE corrupted gear, not less.
First of all it’s nice to finally see something on trade chat other than “wts boost” and secondly the RNG nature of corruption kinda requires trade. We also have a very diverse menu of corruptions, it would be nice to sell the ones that aren’t for you and buy the ones you need.
Also with trading every corruption can be useful, i noticed people are also looking for tier1 or weak corruption effects to probably maintain their Heart of Darkness trait or trying to stay below a corruption threshold. This changes almost weekly with the cloak upgrades.

BoE’s have been part of nearly every raid for 15 years. Why should this be any different? I’m telling you that you are either jealous or envious that people gotten a nice BoE and you didn’t. Why can’t you be happy for them? And Uruk? He wants to make money. Let him make money! He’s got a family to feed. Maybe.
As i said : I dont like the Feeling that Players can buy stuff for RL Money in a mmorpg. It just feels wrong!
And NO it is not the same as the last 15 years. boes before wasnt with corrupted effects. and corrupted effects can do like 20-50% of your dmg (affli wl in hc raid with infite star was top dps and his corruption did 90% of his dmg).
So those items are way too strong.
BOE’s without corrupted effects are ok for me. but not this…
You can basically buy everything with gold in game including boosts. Corrupted boes really isn’t even worth fighting against while you can buy a mythic nyalotha boost for absurd amount of gold.
Tell me how 2 piece of boe ( ring + armor) making the game p2w while buying a boost for gold is in tos.
I get what you trying to say but buying boosts for in game currency is in tos and 2 piece of gear you buy from ah won’t really break anything while boosting exists.
I didnt say it is P2W. i just said i dont like it and i dont want it because it feels wrong.
And yeah, i dont like Boosters too ;D Got a full Curved Group for Hc Raid today and it seemed like all got boosted xD Almost wiped at first boss.
But mate, if we accept this slow development towards more and more Things u can buy for RL Money we will have a real P2W game in 2-3 years. And in my opinion BFA is a payed PTR for shadowlands. So they try new stuff and if the community accept those changes they will Keep it in the next Xpac.
In My opinion corrupted boes that can make that huge dmg difference and are obtainable via RL Money - they are just the start and i guess it will get worse if we accept those “small” changes towards the Impact that RL Money can make in a mmorpg
I’m farming boe 7/24 atm and sold some boes for +2m. Tbh , ppl who spend 2m to boes could easily buy a heroic 12/12 armor stack clear for same money and they will get same corruption no matter what. Probably they can easily buy mythic raid boost for 3-4m gold in like 3 weeks. Boe doesn’t really matter if you consider those. Boe’s always existed but there isn’t even any point buying them while you can gear more effectively with the same gold you spend. I guarantee that you will get multiple op affix while %90 of the raid is trading gear to you lol

Not really , what i’m saying is boe either corruption or not does not makes this game p2w. Boosting does. Boe is the smallest fish in the ocean and doesn’t really effect anything maybe only wf mythic race but for a normal player like me , it has 0 impact

I don’t think a concept of “P2W” exists in game that aren’t purely PVP.
I play the game for the challenge. To me “winning” the game means completing all the difficult content without using cheats (like boosts or buying BOEs for thousands of euro).
I play the game for the same reason I like dark souls. I wouldn’t feel like I “won” the game if i finished DS with god mode on. I don’t care if other people complete it with god mode on. Them cheating themselves out of a good game has no bearing on my achievement.
In PVP games it is different, since the other guy’s cheating makes my winning impossible. But in WoW you could give people a button that says “click me for free BIS gear for no cost”, and I wouldn’t care as long as my guild is not cheating themselves (and me by extension) out of a good raiding experience.
So you don’t like what i wrote about your post and now you attack me ? Yes i do read everything you wrote .Doesn’t mean if you openly write p2w or not you clearly talked about it.
