Corrupted BOE's / Bad for the Game Development (Shadowlands)?

Hello,
In my opinion the New corrupted gear System is just a big rng Show. I really dont like it. But thats Not the point of this Post.
I dont like it that u can buy very very strong items in a mmorpg for RL money. It just feels Bad and wrong! there is no reason for this to exist in World of warcraft. We pay for a monthly sub and A-Blizz earns money via an ingame Shop. That should be enough.
And yes its true people in this game also have a Lot of ingame Gold and can buy those BIS boe’s for ingame Gold without spending RL money. But besides this there are many people buying Gold with RL money to get a great item, and those people will get priority for invites because of the big dmg difference.

I Think to discuss about if its fair or Not is kinda useless because there are Different opinions. BUT it just feels wrong for me that rl money can have an impact on this game.

Delete corrupted boe’s from the game!!!
Or lock them to low gs!
(BOE’s are fine but NOT Corrupted Ones)

I didnt say it is P2W. i just said i dont like it and i dont want it because it feels wrong.
And yeah, i dont like Boosters too ;D Got a full Curved Group for Hc Raid today and it seemed like all got boosted xD Almost wiped at first boss.

But mate, if we accept this slow development towards more and more Things u can buy for RL Money we will have a real P2W game in 2-3 years. And in my opinion BFA is a payed PTR for shadowlands. So they try new stuff and if the community accept those changes they will Keep it in the next Xpac and Maybe go a step further.

In My opinion corrupted boes that can make that huge dmg difference and are obtainable via RL Money - they are just the start and i guess it will get worse if we accept those “small” changes towards the Impact that RL Money can make in a mmorpg

Don’t know about real life money, but don’t nerf the BoE drops. Made a couple of millions by selling corrupted stuff to the suckers.

Thats Not true, they are testing everything in bfa and if we dont tell them it sucks they will implement similar Systems in SL

But they made WoW Tokens cheaper to buy with gold! :frowning:

My worry is that they’ll implement something similar in SL. I really don’t think I want to play through this horrible gearing system again.

Ikr, ended up buying some 445 corruption pieces, jumped to 435

Still got declined 9/10 times

The question is:
Did they even had time to think about it ?
It seems someone at Blizzard HQ was in a hurry to get this patch out, to keep players subscribed for another six months.

It is a big RNG show. They’ve replaced a system no one liked because of the RNG, with something that has RNG ramped up to 11.

I mean what are they thinking?
