I don’t know about others but it is NOT fun for me! I hated azerite and PvP talents as is. For me, this Corruption thing is the nail in the coffin in terms of overall fun.

Well, a simple bit of math shows how absolutely idiotic this system is.
If there is a 25% dropchance for an item to be looted and a 25% chance for that item to be corrupted, the chance to loot any corrupted item is 6.25% per loot. (and TBF a 25% dropchance is already really high)
Now it gets even worse: to get 1 of the 19 specific effects the chance is then 1.31% per loot; and to get 1 of the 53 specific tiers the chance you’ll get that per loot is less then 0.5%…
So yeh… if anyone thinks that WF/TF is bad, then do I have some bad news for them…
And I will not even mention the negative effects; those are so extremely badly though-out that quite a few people will rather cleanse any corrupted drop they will encounter then put up with randomly proccing slows or damagedealing effects.

I’m dreading it, it’s not a fun replacement for TF/WF but I’ve not actually played with it yet. I know some are excited for it. I hate anything that tries to kill me that I equip. There are people who like the system and have raved about it. We are all different.
I’m not excited that I will have to farm yet more essences and AP grind again either. I’ve really enjoyed not having to do that while at cap.
I’m also really looking forward to Shadowlands and I’m just going to do what I need this patch to get my AotC mount and +15 mount. New content will be nice. I will make my Vulp and Mecha, possibly level them when rested, plus get the heritage for Worg and Gob.

Please explain how they killed tanks ? all of them are viable up to 20 and all of them are viable in mythic raids . The threat issues are being addressed in 8.3 all tanks are fine they could be better but there are all fine .
I don’t understand why some posters are trolling about your post. I guess this must be something to do with forcing oneself through that painful process and not being able to accept criticism from someone who actually can see how boring and unfriendly the system is. You need to get through this process to have fun but by the time have got there, there will be another patch or expansion. At least, all the things you farm for should be available for alts. I would really enjoy tanking as Warrior, healing as Shaman/Druid, DPSing as Rogue/Mage etc. I am not even going into PvP.
Unfortunately, this is what the modern model of MMORPG is to keep players’ subscriptions: the harder is the reward to get, the longer players stay in the game. Not my personal opinion as I don’t have time for other MMORPGs, but WoW might not actually be the worst.

Corrupted gear is BfA related. Shadowlands will most likely bring us some completely different system that we will despise.
