Are there more people who are annoyed that we have to farm cosmic flux on every alt in order to participate in our targeted content?

Hehe - this topic is regularly flagged and it definitely needs them to take note.
For me it’s annoying as I have been able to purchase all the legendary 291 mats for most of my alts including both soul type stuff by getting my main to post those but cannot send across the cosmic flux …
… I keep forgetting and pop to go upgrade the legendary and then go arghhh!

I’m pretty sure you get something liek 6-7k cosmic flux by just going over ZM and picking up the easy to get one time chests. At least this is what it has been for me and I’ve taken 4 characters through ZM so far.
I like to farm my gear, but in actual content: doing raids, dungeons and pvp.
I dont like flying around collecting 100 chests before I can step into competitive content.
For me it definitely takes some days to do so, and I dont enjoy this at all.
Lets be fair, flying around collecting stuff and doing campaign quest dont require any skill or game knowledge.
Those are repetitive tasks, timesinks that stop me from doing competitive endgame content I like.
More like 2-3k which is barely enough to craft the 2 set.
I use handy notes and collect everything on the map.
So yea, I would like to be able to skip as much as possible from the boring and repetitive content.
I have 50k flux on my main and nothing to do with it, just make it able to send it over and we’re good.
People who like collecting chests for hours can still collect chests for hours.
You’ll have all 6k fluxes before RNG blesses you with the four pieces.

I am already having full upgradable gear on my alt, but I dont have the cosmic flux yet, I have 2/4 Set upgraded already and I currently have another 2k flux on my character, that means I need another 2-3k to fully upgrade my gear and craft legendarys.
Now I can fly around and waste my lifetime collecting a irrelevant currency.
Edit: regarding the argument that players want everything for free:
I dont want anything for free, I already have the stuff and I worked for it.
I just want to be able to send it over to my alt to avoid doing the same stupid task again.
I have like 90k on my main it should be usuable for alts so i agree with you.
They really should make it sendable to alts. It’s just stupid sitting with a currency you can do absolutely nothing with on your main.
I’m surprised it’s not more alt friendly at this late stage.
An item sold by the QM in ZM to allow players to send cosmic flux to alts would be great.

A new alt is gonna need 5.4k-6k cosmic flux for tier set and 4k for legendaries, which adds up to 9.4k-10k cosmic flux at the bare minimum, not to mention upgrading them if you get random 278 items.
10k cosmic flux is around 100 dungeons at 15 or above, or 50 unique chests in ZM (idk how many of those are) or around 133 rares. Of course some combination of these are also fine.
You’re probably gonna do lfr first week on your alt, which gives quite a lot, but it still adds up to so many things outside of actually playing that you have to do.
Also people who say you get a lot from campaign are smoking, just completed it on my monk yday and i have 1300 flux.
If you work on gearing you get the flux naturally why do you need top legos instantly. Started a hunter 3 weeks ago got 291 legos and pushing 3k score just gotta put a little effort in. You know actually play the character you want
You can get around 3-400 Cosmic Flux from the Zereth Mortis one-time use chests, assuming you unlocked flying there.
Your other option is the new Chore sorry Torghast (Jailer’s Gauntlet or whatever it’s called) wings but those are only optimal if you can “speedrun” it.
NGL I expected cosic flux sharing among alts to be enabled with 9.2.5 (like they did with Soul Ash/Cinders)
Pretty sure score doesn’t matter in gauntlet it works same as old torghast.
Do you really have fun in grinding cosmic flux again on an alt? isn’t it already enough that we have valor points to grind on alts to upgrade gear?
was hoping they would change this and the sandworn relics but again if the devs do not even play their own game it’s just like talking to a wall

Well wouldn’t you agree there is at least something you have to do to gear up a character… However, they should make the ZM progression + Rep in general with the caches etc, you unlock, account wide
Getting the gear in the content you enjoy is enough of “something” to me. Flux for leggo’s and the catalyst can be account wide.
