Could "Cash Flow" make a comeback in some way?

Long ago… way before my own time… guild perks included the infamous “Cash Flow” allowing guilds to generate money based on members looting money off of mobs. The negative side effects including

  • Inflation of currency
  • Guilds mass spamming low level zones with invites to get new players to generate money for them

I’m not specifically saying they absolutely should bring it back but I’d like to bring up a discussion on wether or not it could have been pulled off better or in a way that could bring back a similar mechanic.

Directly my though process was that… What if cash flow didn’t generate money but letting the guild members decide on what % of their loot income they might want to give to their guild. Very active guilds could still make money to do things like offering Repair budgets and the like and if its default setting was 0% it would also be difficult for guilds to take advantage of new players as easily

i d love to see perks for guilds make a come back tbh. if its set by default to 0% and only members themselves can adjust how much they want to donate then it could work but i dont really need it back as a perk. i mean, it doesnt take much time to donate x amount of gold once every blue moon anyways.

One of my strongest and best WoW memories is when we had 2/3 bases in tol barad and about to charge the 3rd.

I Did the mass summon guild perk, summoning the entire raid, capping the point instantly

Quite silly as a good memory, but Guild perks were very fun in many ways.

Cash flow could return as a guild repair re-fill only but the GM getting 10% of all the gold the members looted was toxic.

Only guild perk I want to see returned is Mass Ress. Making it a healer only spell was a huge mistake because most healers can’t be bothered to res, much easier for them to just type “run”

Have guild objectives and when you do them as a guild run you get gold.
