Could we know IF Blizzard is going to merge or allow transfers between HC servers?

Hi there,
Since HC started, and despite the queue problems to get into Stitches servers, many of us, trying to play with friends or because we couldn’t wait 1h queues (due to limited personal time for playing), we are wondering if Blizzard could make a statement with intentions regarding the situations of the HC servers and their future.

We all agree that Stitches will remain the most played one. In my case, Ive levelled 3 times a warrior (and everybody knows how hard it can be). I wouldnt like to lose the progress or keep levelling up and realize there is not many players above 50+ in Nekrosh server alliance.

Is there any chance they will merge the servers soon (or allow to transfer)? If they do, Nekrosh population wouldnt mind to keep progressing as they will know (if they reach end game) they can always keep playing.

Should’ve picked Stitches :man_shrugging:

Well as I said, some we couldn’t dedicate 1h for queueing. Just wondering if it is a real problem for them to allow merging or transferring characters once both servers lower their population.
I don’t see any barrier to allow it. There is no difference between servers (they are both PVE). The issue was the populations, once half of it had disappeared, why not merging them?

Everyone knows how it will turn out. Look at classic era launch, they created tons of servers and then this servers died off quickly. They implemented transfers (mostly paid ones) but much later on.
Everyone know how HC will be - only 1 server with normal pop which is Stitches.

thx buddy. That is why I created the threat. If Blizzard can make a statement clarifying next steps to know a little their intentions.
I am tired of trying to figure out at every seasonal event what is going to happen with servers…

In the community council chat the devs said they will avoid merging because of the large number of problems merging creates. You could expect transfers but I am sure they will happen much later that you need them.

I’ve logged in at various times, except at the start of the HC where queues were 3 to 5 hours and after a maintenance got reduced vastly when does this queue occur? At peak times between 17-19h realm time?

Want me to share a “hack”?

Log into Nek’rosh then change realms to Stitches, works every time for me.

The again I did pay for premium login priority

Consider your character on Nek’Rosh died. Go on to Stitches and start a new one as you are supposed to on HC when your main dies. The loose that character because server lag spike or DC and a thought that you still got a high level character on lag free Nek’rosh will keep you going.

Since maintenance some days ago no more queue on Stitches.

I’m mid 30s on Nek’rosh alliance and it’s starting to feel really deserted. Hard to find people for elite quests and dungeons, and there’s only a few 60s online at any point in time.

That is normal in hc most people go againe between 10-20 :stuck_out_tongue:

Are people like you ever gonna learn?

This has to do with low lvl zones being always populated, but everyone dying in lvl 10-29 range. Same picture on Stitches I presume.

Indeed so I was scratching my head for a little bit heh, I logged in at popular times but there were no queues anymore.

Perhaps interest is also dwindling, it is hard when you die after all.

I think no perceptible dwindling yet. All layers still full, and overfull. But Blizz sure did some queue magic.
