Hello!
My fiancé and I are WoW veterans who just got back to the game a few weeks ago and unfortunately we haven’t been able to find our permanent place to call home in-game, even after transferring to another realm and switching faction (we were in a guild recently which sadly didn’t work out for us ).

We are looking for a mature raiding guild that will do 1-2 raids a week for Shadowlands, one of those days (or even both) preferably being during the weekends, but as long as the times are right we should be okay with raiding during the week nights, too (which we have done in the past). We are willing to switch faction and/or a realm transfer for the right guild.

We are both over 30+ years old living in the UK, my fiancé works from home and I’m a full time cat Mum () , so we have time to devote to playing the game.
We have a vast raiding experience from past expansions and Heroic experience from BfA, which we only dipped our toes in recently since we only came back to the game a couple of weeks ago from a 2 year long break after our previous guild fell apart. I have AOTC from downing N’zoth not long ago. We have also been doing M+ together with our real life friends to try to gear up.

Currently I am maining a BM hunter and my fiancé is maining a paladin. Personally I’d love it if I could continue being a hunter, since that’s the class that I know best and that I came back to play again after a long break and I’ve gotten the hang of the rotation and such again. However, we are contemplating switching classes if need be for the right guild.

What we can bring to your raiding team

• Punctual individuals that will be by the summoning stone at least 15 minutes before the start of the raid.
• We always come prepared to raids in terms of studying and reading up on tactics and bringing our own flasks/potions/food, etc.
• We always aim to improve and we are open to constructive criticism, willing to learn from our mistakes and become better players.
• I like to farm things and make flasks, potions and food to contribute to the guild bank.
• If there is a time when we can’t attend a raid due to real life reason, we will let the raid leader/GM know well in advance - we’re very organised and disciplined and believe that communication is super important.

What we are looking for in a guild

• Mature team of likeminded players with a zero tolerance to toxicity and a drama free zone. We are not interested in a guild with elitist cliques or immaturity.
• A team that likes to progress together. We would love to dip our toes into Mythic content in Shadowlands!
• A guild which also does fun, social events as well as things like transmog runs and achievement runs, and preferably has an active Discord.
• A supportive environment where we can all grow as players and a place to call our permanent home.
• Preferably guild that has been around for a while - we really don’t want to see another ‘home’ fall apart like we did 2 years ago with our previous guild.

About us

We’re a newly found guild that’s taking recruitment slowly to build up the right playerbase with the right mentality towards progress and have similar and likeminded goals as ours. Our ambitions for Shadowlands are world top 500 ranking and in order to obtain that, certain things are needed and required of us on a 3 night raid schedule. You can expect us spending countless hours outside of raids to prepare properly with classes, specs, tactics, spreadsheets and so on for each raid night. Our philosophy is mechanics over big numbers and that you provide feedback where feedback is due. This newly found guild is formed by current mythic raiders of other guilds with high-end experience from past raids as well as Ny’alotha.

For the time being until Shadowlands, we clear Heroic Ny’alotha on friday nights.

Raid times

• Wednesday

• Sunday

• Monday (First 4 weeks of Mythic, after these weeks, this will become optional heroic nights for alts)

• 20:30 - 23:00

What we expect from you

• Come prepared tactically and do your own research as well as testing raids during PTR cycles
• Come with all mandatory buffs such as food, flasks and potions.
• Be equipped with best enchants and gems
• Hard-skinned as we do have a lot of banter
• During progress, you might be asked to play one of your alts for the sake of progress.
• A working headset with microphone and willingness to speak as communication is key for progression.

What you can expect from us

• A good and stable roster with focus on best possible gameplay
• Lots of banter
• Criticism where criticism is due
• Calm and relaxed environment
• A long standing officer team that’s played together for several years

Last Rites are currently in a rebuild stage, after taking a little break after The Eternal Palace. We’re looking for some nice, positive people to join our roster ready for Shadowlands. We are a family friendly guild and very community based. Our main aim is to progress through the end-game content at a steady pace, all while having a lot of fun and laughs along the way! That doesn’t mean we don’t take our raiding seriously. But, we do feel that a large section of the WoW community in recent years, emphasize putting progress above all else . We’d like to get the kills, while maintaining the close knit community of friends that we are. As of right now, we’re mainly doing M+/Heroic clears while we continue to build our core raid team for SL.
