Sorry in advance if this has been asked before, but I am not sure what covenant would be best for me.
I am mostly havoc, but I enjoy messing around a bit as vengeance in torghast or low keys or just doing random stuff. I don’t pvp and rarely raid.
I am currently kyrian, but would fae be better for me?
Night fae would be better
Sim it yourself here https://www.raidbots.com/simbot/quick (use convert to SimC input and change between kyrian and night_fae). I did 1 target Patchwork vs 5 target Patchwork.
On my wife’s HDH, Night Fae would be about 4% better on single target but about 1% worse on 5 target aoe than Kyrian. I imagine it depends on talents and gear though.
I mean… Considering the Night Fae ability will oneshoot anyone you go up against, its a no brainer.
I don’t pvp though.
Keep 9.1 in mind also, we are not in final build so who knows which covenant will be best. CUrrently for DH Night fae is realy good if you love casual pvp, you have The hunt to oneshot players with 
I have seen a few DH’s in PvP doing pretty OK. healing was good and although they did not ride the leader boards, they managed to hold their own.
