Hi
when switching covenant on my main, I dont get any of the covenant ability that I change to direct. But when I level a new char and comes to Oribos to choose a covenant, I get the abilities directly, at lvl 50.
Is it supposed to be like this? How long do I have to play into the campaign to get all abilities on my main?
There are two forms of levelling, one is the regular storyline, this way you will get the Covenant ability for the zone you are levelling in. If you choose Threads of Fate you get to choose your covenant and get that sole ability all the way through.
At max level you should be able to switch more easily but again it depends. If you have an alt or your main has reached 80 renown you should be able to swap freely between all four.
I have multiple chars at 60. When ever i switch on my main, I dont get the abilities. When switching on another, it is no problem. I get the abilities direct.
Opened a ticket for this but got told to read on wowhead.
Are they not in your spellbook and just need dragging to your bars?
Ah no. I just tested with another 60 char. When switching they “fall down” on the bar and appears in the spellbook. None of this happends with my main, on any other covenant than the one I have played all shadowlands.
Have re-opened a ticket.
Have you actually gone and visited the covenants you are swapping to so that you unlock their abilities?
Hehe yea, got an answer from a GM, they wanted me to try play some into the campaign. I have played quite far into the NightFae witout getting them. I guess Im gonna try some more.
As I said, it works perfect on all other chars, so I know how it is supposed to work, just not on my main char.
