Coward! Debuff

Character: Massacreur
Server: Stitches, EU
Faction: Horde
Class: Shaman
Level: 34

Need support for the Mak’gora “Coward!” debuff - which there is no warning or information about in game under the ‘duel to the death’ function a player is asked to agree to.

A guild mate (Kekmeister) asked me to accept the Mak’Gora so that he can see the text / then we would forfeit. After forfeiting I found out about the 3 day long 20% reduced everything debuff!

I’m in the middle of a PVE leveling grind, can the debuff please be exceptionally removed.

Also as a suggestion if this is going to happen why not just remove the duel zone range OR allow players to mutually agree to forfeit!

Please assist support - 3 days with all reduced stats, damage, armor, etc. because someone wanted to see what the makgora text says is crazy…

Yeah we weren’t aware there was a debuff when you forfeit. There was no message with that info.

Make a character on Nek’Rosh meanwhile your debuff is falling off. There’s plenty of Horde here.

The name “duel to the death” is warning enough IMO. It’s intended to only be started when one person comes out alive. No fix needed. You live and learn.

Could have saved you a lot of effort. No. No it can’t. No it won’t be. And they won’t read this

Doesn’t it give you a pop up before you accept to tell you this stuff? I’m not stupid enough or high enough level to try it to test it.

This is pretty funny tho, glad it exists.

Or the same person on multiple characters, I got tired of counting the number of ‘kekmeisters’ that liked his post.

On to the topic: Everybody knew about the debuff. There was more than enough information on the topic and what would happen.

It does not

should have died upon /forfeit. it is a duel to the death, not a duel until someone gives up

Mak’gora must be respected

I actually didn’t know about the debuff either. I expected that you either can’t forfeit, or that you die when you do.

Thats fine, and the debuff is also fine. The problem is that there is no info anywhere that you get a debuff ingame if you forfeit, if we knew we wouldnt have done it. We knew we could forfeit a mak gorah but not that it had any consequence

It has been 30 hours, I’ve been online for about 20 hours, and I still have 3 days on this debuff, please do not tell me it has been programmed to be 3 days of in game time.

I think it is ingame time

The debuff timer is not shown precisely in Classic interface, you need addon for that.

Should be like Res sickness statwise and last one month.
