Is there some option in win 10 to check cpu preformance and heat?
Considering that WoW is not a very demanding game, no.
Im still playing on my FX-8350 (noctua-D14).
That CPU i have belongs in the era of dinosaurs, still works fine though and whatever you pick to buy right now surely outperforms mine.
I have cpu error fan on screen when I start mine comp. I cleared the dust, put a thermal paste still got that stupid error.
Use HwInfo to monitor temperatures and other sensors. On boot you can go to BIOS to see some temperatures there too. Fan error may be related to a fan not working or misbehaving.

You see the fan working?
You can check temperatures with many apps, i use core temp

I just now read that Bios can make some change and make fan to work stupid like mine xD It say to enter in bios and reset on deaful settings. That is like one option to check will it work.
