CPU usage at 80-100% since last patch

The game is also taking 80% memory on my computer… And it is the pure WoW experience… No addons, no nothing. Just the game itself.

i have 6GB used out of 16 while having WoW.exe only in programms. Last time when i checked that was around 3GB, looks like people with 4GB RAM are screwed…

How do we get their attention?

I think we won’t get any until tomorrow or monday, they are working in work, so i don’t think they will reply from home without consulting it with dev team.

I’ve not seen a mess this unplayable since WoD launch.

Just imagine my disappointment when i get back home after 12hrs of work just to realize i can’t play the game  I will look for clues on US forum because there is day now, so any possible solution may appear there in no time hahaha

Try seeing Zandalari being released (something that should’ve been in the game when the expansion launched, so you could actually do the content with the character you want from the start). Don’t have time to play all week. Finally get to the weekend. Then being unable to do so.

IKR, finally, you found some time to play the game and you can’t. The only thing i managed while playing today is maxed brawler’s guild ranking. Then i did exit immediately because i was caring about my cpu heat.

Hey, look at this topic from US, guy has almost the same spec as mine https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/t/continually-worsening-fps/126236 the same problem, almost the same system spec, 100% not local issue.

Guess it’s just the waiting game now…

Look at blue post there

" If that doesn’t work it’s likely overheating. Grab hwmonitor and play a game until it crashes. Once it does, check the “max” column of your test for CPU/GPU overheating. If those are getting too hot, clean the PC and take it to a PC tech if that doesn’t fix the overheating - that’d probably mean some of the heat hardware needs maintenance or replacement."

i bought my laptop 3 weeks ago and my hardware needs replacement? funny ^^ it is overheating, but due to wow.exe not anything else because any other game is working with no problem.

This is just like Apple… They’ll try to shift the blame onto the player, until enough people have experience the same stuff, and they have to cave in like a beat dog, and ask for forgiveness.

Yes! It’s so obvious, they will say that nothing from them is causing this until enough players will report an issue, then they will magically post that they are working on solution which means things could be sorted from the start.

Yuuuuuuuup. All companies do this, though… Not sure if it is an excuse, but it is just a sad fact, really…

I’m wondering, are you using vertical sync too?

Tried changing those too. Enabling it locked my FPS at 30, but didn’t help with the lag, or the CPU usage.
