So I´ve been farming the crackling shards for a while. I got 9/10 and all seemed good, I got the 9 shards with roughly 2k kills between each drop.
But then I cant seeme to get the last one. I got over 7k kills and nothing still. Im not sure what to do. Maybe its broken
To not make a new threath, I wanna ask about “Kej” currency. Is it important? I get it but still dont know where to spend it.
Well i got the mount after 8-10k kills (looking at alt kills as well)
After i got the mount i got 3 shards in like half an hour gameplay 2 of them while doing gathering farm … i was like ftw… It’s rng ( A yes the last one was a pain took me the most:D ) Well Gl 
RNGesus is not always merciful. Anytime you want something, it’ll make you wait longer or lower the odds just to spite you. They favor some lucky people, but people like you and me will be at 50K kills before we get there.
Kej is spent at the Severed Threads renown quartermaster, and a few other vendors in Azj’Kahet. Kej is used exclusively in Azj’Kahet instead of the Resonance crystals, that are used in the three other zones.
First: 5 kills on the starting area with alt
2-6: 180 kills in the spider cave. (this was random extreme luck) (1.5h - 2h)
7-9: about 700-800 kills
10: 1.5k (or so) kills.
Most of the kilsl mae in the spider cave, last 2 or 3 made outside of it because hyperspawm rate was nerfed - I think.
Then got the mount and was flying somewhere and like 10 min later I killed a random rare: Another one.
In the end, it’s down to luck but farming the spider seems decent because you get so many kills per hour.
I didn`t get a single one yet… Been doing everything week after week empty maps, and got nada.
Closer to 50k kills and only 1 shard has dropped
