You can transform the pvp items into set items though .

Last Catalyst couldnt convert crafted items either.
The list of what could and couldn’t be used was documented in the dev post about the catalyst.
My main problem is that the LFR transmog set is exceedingly hard to get with all the soloable geat sets giving you the Normal appearance.
And in my opinion, it was a sensible choice instead. It would have been too easy to have and complete the set.
That’s why the catalyst exists, if they didn’t want to make it easy to complete the set they wouldn’t have implemented this feature in the first place.
Also we’re 2 months in and you can get 1 piece per week, do you think it’s hard to get an item from a +2 or a 385 primal item which takes like 30 min of killing mobs out in the world?
