Spending 50k for item that almost everyone else get for sub 10k thats what the issue is about.
Blizz screwed it, everyone needs a weapon, so weapon is expensive, makes perfect sense, and then plate armor is made of same mats as weapon , so plate armor = weapon price .
This shouldnt be the case , it isnt in real life shouldnt be in game .
Yeah i agree. I rather spamm mythics than crafting at the moment.
I even tried flying around mining nodes, but the prices of ores is not that high so i maybe get 10k-15 per hour (and its really boring aswell). Then you take account that most of the gold goes to potions or oils for raiding/mythics.
Mining provide materials for 3 professions Blacksmithing~Jewelcrafting~Engineering
If you add this you will see the pattern and why the Prices are so High.
Also another Big and the most important factor is that in this expansion until now 1 month+ i didnāt encounter and i didnāt read about Bots.
The only post i read about Bots is being some bots in Df areasā¦
So the only providers are the people that provide materials and they are doing manually/playing the game *
So demand and with low percentage of miners create this problem .
The prices from previous week has dropped Quite a low .
Bismouth Tier 3 from 270 g is now at 150g and dropping .
Arathorās Spear from 540 g is now at 223 g and dropping .
The same with every materials so day by day the prices are going to drop .
I mean look Null stone⦠previous week was 7k and now is 4.2 k .
If the materials were going only for Blackmithing everything were perfect , but there are plenty of materials for Jw/En.
So people should understand that the materials come from people time/spend within the game . If there arenāt enough farmers/ gatherer the prices are++ /Logic.
Only bishmut is worth minimg , why dont divide it ? One is 150 a piece the other is like 10g .
And then we have extremly rare nullstones that are pure rng ⦠yay .
Also what are u even on with JWC? Crafting a ring or neck is like 10k at best , crafting wrists ( lowest stat armor item) is like 50k , nothing u can compare .
So yea , we can definitely see an issue there.
And no, issue isnt that mining needs to provide for jwc and egi and bs, issue is that both weapons and armor require exactly same mats which are made from rare stuff.
Meanwhile everyones else armor mats is farmable with an ease.
Do you see logic in it now ? Or will u go with your suply demand bs again?
Mining for 1h with green mining equipment netted me 89k gold on med pop server.
Gathering herbs for 1 hour with green gathering equipment netted me 56k gold in 1h.
Gathering dirt for my engineer alt for parts netted me 74 k gold in 1 h.
Doing dungeons and delves and selling mats/disenchanting gear cloth etc, netted me 32k gold in 1h.
Tldr: Do something ,anything in game instead of complaing about gold. Gold is dropping from sky, trees and bees.
P.S. 1h of real life work netted me 280k gold
Most people use their professions not as a gold income but simply to make stuff for themselves
I do not sell mats, but I dont buy mats to complete unreasonable patron orders either.
I do agree that claiming the profession system is only viable if you but gold is nonsense, other then the raw blue mats its easy to make the epic reagents, made my shoulders (I wanted the transmog) after I gathered all the mats without touching the AH
That only works if you actually have the time for it.
I can play three hours tops, I am not going to spend one hour of that chasing nodes just to break even to be able to do something. I will spend that time on something I enjoy doing.
This is a videogame, not the real world where I want to experience capitalism every single day.
Costs for crafting have gone through the roof in general, not even talking about the prices of stuff in the AH but the mats cost in comparison to the amount of the materials we get from one mob/node etc. Having to kill 70+ mobs to craft one drum is ridiculous.
Without bots providing ācheepā mats for ppl treating crafting as a full endgame content (doing nothing else than that), the whole crafting system would have collapsed even before the DF changes, but especially with those. Crafting has become a thing for a certain elite, while before āeveryoneā was able to max out their own profession with some farming now and then to stay autonomous; now everyone depends on a few ppl crafting max quality stuff and putting it on the AH/fulfilling orders.
Nah, they used to be rewarding in the old system.
You could make standard items with a little bit of material farming and buying perhaps one or two other profession items from the AH to craft stuff that would help you out.
Youād still ask others to craft additional things like enchanting scrolls, gems and what not.
And the truly rare stuff was locked behind drops in raids of HC dungeons, so to get the best crafting gear you had to clear the content and get lucky the items dropped for you.
Now?
You need an insane amount of materials to craft around 20-30 base components + 2 rare/expensive drops from other gathering professions for a single sword.
And again, couldnāt care less about āplaying the economyā. Itās a videogame, not the real world.
Jesus Christ. this clarification was really needed?
Profession crafting in DF and TWW is a s@@t and is terrible because i spent a lot of money just to craft 3 items for mogging and i have my character money wasted.
Since b4 i had joy to level profession now im really disappointed in doin this @@@@@ activity.
Now is ok or you need other info about my thought on profession?
