Crafters charging insane prices on the horde side of my server

Kazzak. Horde majority.

My main is Alliance for Dwarf racial, i pay 2k per craft tops. Been playing my Horde druid alt, the crafters are quoting me 10k-12k gold for a 675 craft lol.

Switched back to my Alliance pala, put in trade. 5 people instantly message me and say “tip what you want”. Tip 2k.

What extortionate prices are you people paying this late in the expansion?!

Just ignore those greedy crafters. You provide the mats and everything.

Yeah I usually just reply “got it for free” to put salt in the wounds and pray noone ever pays them for 1 buttonpress. Then ill tip willingly the guy who whispers tip what you want.

You mentioned the server name Kazzak. That is all you needed to know xD

Yea I don’t get it either .
I mean it is one button press right ?
Why do you even need someone to craft the item for you anyways .
Just craft it yourself … cause … you know … it is one button press .

or there is something we are missing here , before pressing that mythical One Button .
Nahhhh just one button press guys . Go for it .

i was thinking the same thing . ^^ though to their favour i have yet to meet a rude or mean person from kazzak while doing delves .people are mostly chill

Well you’re doing delves solo most the time, so that would make sense :stuck_out_tongue:

I think about 90% of people I’ve come across from Kazzak are either toxic or very self entitled.

A few days ago, a guy in a raid was demanding a tank before reported because they disconnected, and he was spoiling their run. A few of us said, “wait to see if they return, it could be an actual disconnect. How would you feel if your account got reported for a disconnect?”.

He then kicked all those who didn’t agree with his world view.

Was then told a few moments later than everyone else left due to his immaturity.

That sounds like a you server issue. Nobody’s getting mugged for 12k per craft this late in the expansion unless your entire Horde economy is run by villains.

I just have my guildies craft for me, I usually tip 1-2 k.

No one asked me for 10–15k gold to craft my items on Kazzak for the whole season. It was around 5k in the first few weeks, then just a tip after that.

I mean, these crafters you see spamming none stop aren’t kazzak players. They literally spend 12 hours per day sat in Dorn just crafting. I think it’s quite suspicious what they do with all these millions upon millions of gold.

Players play the game, not scamming people and then possible RMT

On God, i could even give their names as i added them to blacklist. But i think that’s against TOS.

I have a “unique” system for dealing with people who ask for crafts, and I fear it’s what causes them to not ask me a second time… I charge based on Concentration required. Basically it goes like this:

  • Player A asks for a crafter
  • I respond with “Send me a crafting order with your materials and 0 tip, I will check how much concentration I will use and I will charge 2g per Concentration point. If that’s acceptable, you cancel the craft and resend it to me with the fee I will ask”

Some people prefer to pay someone 2k or 5k gold than go the extra mile of posting their crafting order twice for some reason.

I also spend Concentration on Public Orders if the tip is over 200g.

Ill admit some ignorance, with highest level crafter gear and maxed out specialisation/rank 3 materials how much concentration do you use?

I always tip 2k, even if they say any tip.

^^ Except I am the guild’s crafter in ours. I can craft just about everything. People tip what they like. Some are generous, others are not.

It depends on the item. For the PvP neck/ring for example I don’t use any at all, it becomes 5-star quality. For the PvE neck/rings, with embelishment, set secondary stats and gilded crest, it’s somewhere between 200 and 300. For gems I am not yet maxxed on all of them and it can be anywhere from 200 to 500.

-=EDIT=-
I have been wrong. I have been using rank-2 materials in at least one spot all the time.

Are you full highest ilvl crafted? even then 200-300? thats nuts

The new profession “revamp” served to concentrate wealth among the few to an extent never before seen.

Region-wide auction house did not help, in fact I think it was deliberately introduced at the same time to encourage token purchases by a larger % of the playerbase.

You present this as some kind of conspiracy against poor average player.
Thing is every single player has same oportunity and cost to level and use crafting profession for himself avoiding any additional crafting costs.
Everyone can do the work by themselves, some people just choose not to and only whine about prices.

Do you think a game design choice that attempts to subtly increase profits is a conspiracy?
