I have a new MacBook Pro. I’ve problems with WoW when I go for a Boss with a raid (pink WQ). After starting the fight, with a lot of flash, light etc. my computer stucks (video?) and I im on the graveyard when the fight ended. Also same problems when graphics asks a lot of the hardware. Anyone has tips? My old MacBook Pro 2014 hadn’t that problems…! 
There are known problems with Mac OS. Check technical support forum for more info.
I have had the same issue, new 16” MacBook just runs terrible. Moving to a windows laptop to play, I’m gutted
