Crashing Error 132 Memory Can't be executed

Hello,

Since this week, i have had a lot of crashes. It got to a point where i could not do a bg without crashing.

I have a top of the line PC (2080 TI, 3900X, 32 Gb of ram). I have done a lot of things to try to find the source of the problem :

  1. Removed all background app from the pc

  2. Update all drivers

  3. Uninstall reinstall Wow

  4. Reset the UI

  5. Memtest 86 (no problems detected)

  6. Set Wow and Blizzard App to run as admin

  7. Update Windows

The computer is a few months old, no other problems to mention besides this one.
I’m out of ideas, I have opened a ticket but i have no idea how long it’s going to be. I’m getting a bit frustated. Any ideas?

Error Log : zcyrRN6g
MSInfo : USXWmEUb
dxdiag: b1Np75sT

the 2 last are in french unfortunately

Solution : After Two weeks of intense troubleshooting, it seems the processor was faulty. I returned it and i’m waiting for a new one. Thanks for the help

Error can be caused by many things, from faulty addons, overlocked and unstable RAM etc.

I would start from https://eu.battle.net/support/en/article/8288 since you didn’t actually mention what you have done so far.

I uploaded it by mistake, i was editing it while you were answering.

You have covered most of the bases but here are couple suggestions/clarifications:

  1. To clarify, when you reset the UI did you try without installing any addons and it still crashed?
  2. Have you tested to run memory using the standard timings (eg. not OC, not XMP profile)?
  3. MemTest86 is decent but it doesn’t detect all the issues. If you want, you could try running AIDA64’s system stability test for CPU/memory/cache. Be advised that they will stress your computer quite a bit more than most games so make sure to have adequate cooling.
  4. Have you updated your motherboard’s BIOS? MSinfo seems to say you have but I am not entirely sure so just making sure.
  5. Related to the above, have you tried using older BIOS version and see if it works?
  6. Make sure to install AMD chipset drivers if you haven’t already. Easy to forget as they are not as visible as GPU drivers for example.

Hopefully you figure out the problem soon.

  1. Yes there is no addon whatsoever, i removed the WTF /cache/Interface. It is not addon related.
  2. There is no OC on anything, i even removed the XMP profile to check.
  3. Yes i could, but honestly, at this point, considering that only wow is affected and nothing else is wrong, it does not seem to point to my machine but can try.
  4. the Bios is recent, 2 months ago,
  5. I haven’t tried older BIOS, it usuallly doesn’t make sense, especially if it has been stable for a while.
  6. The AMD drivers are installed.

Again , this problem pretty much appeared this week, whereas everything else is months old.

Thanks for the help.

I’m going to try a clean install of Nvidia drivers just in case

Sorry to hear that you’ve been crashing and thanks for both the steps and the files you included.

I had a look into the crashes and your files and there isn’t anything massively specific. There are a few changes that we can make though I think might help.

  1. First, I’d like to test if you still have this issue in Directx11 Legacy over Directx 12. The crashes are pointing towards a potential driver/DirectX 12 issue.

  2. If you do still see crashes, let’s test some older stable drivers which may help you avoid the crashes:
    https://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/159884/en-us

  • Choose custom installation
  • Choose install without Geforce experience
  • Untick the 3D driver components (if listed)
  • Click clean install
  • Continue and complete the installation as per normal
  1. Lastly, let’s temporarily uninstall NZXT

This is also a fantastic suggestion and could be worth testing out if the other changes don’t help. Hopefully, some of these changes help you avoid seeing further crashes.

Hello, thanks for the answers. I have done a clean install of the drivers, but it doesn’t seem to work. Then i uninstalled NZXT and a bunch of other software that i don’t use often.
This still ended in a crash with a BSoD.
The ticket i submitted went nowhere, the GM told me i was cloud gaming. I have no idea where he would pick up this idea. I have one remote desktop software that i use to access remote machine for work purposes. I removed it just in case, but it is almost never opened. And it still crashed after that. I replied telling him that i am not indeed ‘Cloud Gaming’ but that i use the pc that is 40 cm from my head.

I’m now trying the D11 legacy (i tested the d11 earlier, but still crashed).

For the BIOS, right now i’m at 2.70, what version should i test downgrading to?

If nothing else work, i’m willing to reset windows.

edit: Could Logitech G Hub be creating those crashes?
Edit 2: 2 hours in with direct x 11 legacy , still no crashes
Edit 3 : It crashed again with D11legacy and no Ghub. I’m updating the bios.
