Creating an evoker and not being able to queue Timewalking dungeons immediately

Why the hell wouldn’t you be able to queue normal content, after creating an evoker? We never had this issue after creating DHs, or DKs before level nerfs??? What is this absolute stupidity?
And don’t come and say “just do Dragonflight normal dungeons”, I’ve been sitting in queue for 30mins as a healer, because there’s literally not a single TANK who queues for it. LET ME PLAY THE GAME???
I totally get it that “boosted characters” can’t access old content before waiting 24-48hrs or so, but with Evokers as well? Sounds like nothing else but LAZY coding to me.

Who’s boss do we need to contact regarding this? For real, it’s DUMB AS HELL.

That sounds like a bug if you’re in que as a healer for 30min

It’s def not a bug. It’s just how dead normal Dragonflight dungeons are, especially during Timewalking weeks.

Maybe search before posting

What do you think I did? This is not an excuse, we didn’t have this stupidity with DHs did we? Nor did we have it with DKs? It’s not like they’re insta 60 and ready to play here. Evokers has to go through its campaign just like the rest had to before.

Yes we did and DK its to stop them being constantly remade and abusing dungeons for esay farming.

We did not. Stop coming to spread lies because you lost a battle.
DHs didn’t have this in Legion, nor in BFA, nor in SL. DKs didn’t either. I know this, because I lvled with them.

They did with the pre patch into Legion very much so and please do not accuse me of lying when you say

when you can not even remember.

Dks couldnt que in wotlk for content until they did start zone and cleared 24 hours. You are fixiated on TW when DK and DHs were locked from all content.

what battle please stop making stuff up and welcome to ignore you are a very angry person for no reason.

Lies, on top of lies. No this is not true. Stop trying to defend a tiny indie company with your nonsense. You can even google it yourself, they did not.
They might have done that to WOTLK Classic, but they did NOT do that in WOTLK, nor into cata, MOP or WOD. God damn that was a lot of bull----.

Yeah, instant high levels like DK, DH and Dracthyr are given a cooldown of sorts preventing various stuff from being done.

Wasn’t that like only 24h tho? Or 48 hours

We had to complete starter zone and we could not que for first 24 hours after first log in, DK/DH/Evoker all at one point shared the same CD.

Sounds completely reasonable. If people are gonna rage out over something this minor, then they should just unsubscribe, seeing they’ll get a stroke once they encounter actual reasons to be mad in WoW.

Sounds reasonable from someone who plays maybe 2 hours a week to say. Maybe go play Minecraft instead?
I created the character o level it immediately, not wait for this tiny indie company to let me play the game on it.

DHs did have the same system. The old support file specifically mentioned them.

I guess those reddit threads from 7 years ago were some shared mass hallucination then?

I am curious what exactly does this mechanic prevent?

Like, what kind of ‘‘exploits’’?

It’s nothing but excuses to lazy coding.

  1. Create evoker
  2. Make it through a short 20-30 min intro
  3. Go farm old instances for mounts
  4. Delete evoker
  5. Rinse and repeat

Personally, I don’t believe it would be worth it in the long term. It would be more efficient to level characters on different realms to be able to create multiple evokers to have an insane amount of characters available every week.
