Meh, pretty crap.
It shouldn’t be viewed in isolation but as part of a package of stupid speedbumps.
1 set currently, will get 2 set today. 2 weeks for 4 set. Pretty underwhelmed overall.

Overall I like the Creation Catalyst as a system, but I don’t think the charges adds much to the system at this point. If it had been available a lot earlier, I can absolutely understand restricting it to one per week, but eight weeks in I feel like it could have started with at least two, if not four, charges so people who still don’t have any tier for whatever reason could have unlocked at least one of their tier set bonuses this week.
Or only have charges for converting items above a certain item level, so you could convert as many low item level (perhaps 252 or below) pieces as you want, but are still restricted on how many high item level pieces you can convert. Yes, if you had the pieces from low M+ keys you could convert them all, then start upgrading, but the Valor cap really makes that unfeasible.
I really don’t like that it changes the stats 
I want to keep my haste and mastery. I don’t want 100 crit, I don’t need it. I’m a tank, not a healer

I don’t like it. Just let people have fun with 2-set and 4-set bonus now instead of time-gating it further.

Unnecessary timegating and changing of stats sucks.
Should have been available 3 weeks ago, or the drop rate on tier pieces should have been higher. There are far too many people still on 0-2 pieces, not getting to enjoy the new toys of 9.2 while other people are already wearing the shine off their 4 set.
But the cooldown itself is fine. If we could use it constantly, we’d have threads complaining that people don’t have enough 278 pieces to throw in it yet.

i think its fine, but it should have come way, way sooner than this.
It’s fine as a system but it should have been launched sooner. At this point of the patch we shouldn’t have restrictions either.

I’m one of them.
I know I gimp my chances because I only do LfR ( a fellow guildie does the same & he’s already at 3/4), but not including the Vault I have had the following.
Legs - 0/6 boss kills
Hands - 0/4 boss kills
Helm - 0/2 boss kills
Shoulder - 0/2 boss kills
Chest - 1/2 boss kills.
From the vault I have had 0 tier pieces.
I didn’t get my first tier piece until last week, which I didn’t use because I have the chest from Antros which is higher item level.
That’s including this weeks reset as I ran all 10 bosses earlier this morning.
In my opinion the catalyst should have released during week 6, if not earlier, not this week.

Couldn’t have put this better myself.
I’m an altoholic who spends a majority of their free time on WoW doing LFR currently, as I want the mog and the ilvl isn’t too shabby for alts either. I think since the opening of LFR I’ve had two - MAYBE three - tier sets drop in total? And that’s across 7 - 10 characters I take in WEEKLY and try my best to do all wings if I can on each one.
My main got her first tier piece today thanks to the Creation Catalyst. I have characters I literally don’t play and was only playing to farm the mog more geared than her thanks to those lucky LFR drops. It’s insane.

They need to keep the sub numbers runing.
Do you understand that apart from catalyst there is nothing exciting to log in for.
My last m+ was saturday and since then i had no point to log in since there is nothing fun to do.
Prepare for 9.2.5 Where you will have same thing from shadowlands to farm again and again.
No new raid Just ilvl boost to drops and bosses scale up.
Apart from cross faction raids, dungeons, arenas and bgs there is nothing exciting to keep you playing 9.2.5.
Blizz abadoned shadowlands completly.

Just hurts my soul that i took a 272 tier piece over 278 bis gloves with speed on them, i thought you MADE tier pieces, not transform normal pieces into them
But oh well, thats what i get for my haste actions, still happy with it!
I think 30 March was a better date for unlocking it but the weekly thing is fine honestly. I do not even have all 4 278 piece yet anyway to convert.
I like it,next week making the 4 th piece after making 0 raids,blizzard going in right direction.
