Alacrity is a talent that grants a % Haste from finishing moves. Despite that Crimson Tempest is a finishing move, it doesn’t grant a stack for Alacrity.
I already submitted it as a bug in-game, but there still isn’t a fix so far. Did anyone else notice this?
Crimson is more efficient in some heavy AoE M+ scenarios. Just as it also was in BfA. Of course when adds would be alive long enough.
For the record it also ended up being best on ST in BfA with the haste corruption raid build (the best build right) but that shouldn’t happen again so we’ll stick with my first sentence only.
Personally, I favor using Crimson Tempest over Poison Bomb. Because I don’t like the RNG and having a somewhat controllable AoE feels much better. Also Crimson Tempest fits nicely with my Valeera Sanguinar transmog.
It’s stated finishing moves grant % Haste with Alacrity talent, where as Crimson Tempest doesn’t grant a stack when it’s a finishing move. I hope it will be fixed.
i used crimson tempest alot in 8.3 with haste+crit corruptions it was great kinda like having more control rather than random psn bomb procs.
also they buffed crimson tempest in SL cant say if its better than psn bomb now tho
Sure, I have it transmogged on my Blood Elf alt here. Since I change transmog on my main (Alesta) from time to time.
I hope Blizzard will add support which allows hair to be shown with hoods, then this transmog would be even better. It’s my own design, by the way. Let me know if you like it.
