[Critical Review] Division is Destruction!

Yep, and it’s not just you. Just found this quote while idly browsing:

Lxser is definitely living under the heel of the bunker mentality. But she’s not the only one. Not the only one by far.

Yep, 3x right now on my realm compared to 4 PM. Que is almost 10k.

With all the cross realm and sharding stuff on BfA you would hope the server capacity could accomodate more people than classic.

Don’t know why it really matters though, who cares if the server has 50k or 50 if it feels empty? Classic is still in the hype phase but the game hasn’t felt this alive in years and this is one server only. Imagine if they were all semi merged like bfa, world chat would be unreadable. Every zone is prop full of people and will be for some time as the queues are still pretty huge so I’d imagine a lot of people still haven’t gotten past level 10.

I wouldn’t be surprised if retail still had more players overall even now but I’m not seeing any of them so for all I know it’s just me and 30 other people on the entire server.

I don’t think it is a “hype phase”. Classic has taken far more players than Blizz expected.

When I look on BfA, a lot of players have simply stopped playing as a result. They are not on Classic, just not online at all, judging by my friends list. (not to brag but I have hundreds of battle.net friends, so I can see they are not online). It is like people think that everyone has gone to Classic, and for the ones who don’t want to go to Classic, with how dead the BfA server now is, they have lost interest in the game.

No the cap was rised from 500 to 1000 in cata ,I know this as we had 2 alt guilds in wotlk as we had about 1300 players spread in 3 guilds was a nightmare for sorting DKP .

I may stand corrected on that, thank you - but when I first hit the cap I am sure I read on the old forums that the cap was lowered.

Maybe they lowered it and then raised it.

Either way, the cap is too low.

It has never been lowered else they would have been uproar only thing that has changed with guilds are

banks added
capped rised to 1000
achivements added
heirlooms added

My view is if a guild is capped at 1000 atm do you really know everyone in it ? if so well done on that as the community has changed so much .I myself now find smaller guilds better to be in they are strangely enough more vibrant.

Ive just seen you are on a connected realm with 2 others I know its not ideal but maybe make 2 more guilds of the same name ?

Well more things than that have changed, the guild dethrone system they added was itself changed 3 times.

I had not thought to do that. Thank you for the suggestion, but managing a guild properly takes time and presence.

I added a second WoW account to my BN account so that I could be logged in to BfA and Classic at the same time on different screens, so that I can monitor 2 guilds (both with the same name).

I created another guild on classic with a different name, which I have now disbanded because it was too much to manage - and I could not promote someone else to leader.

Both the guilds I created on Classic have/had over 100 players online. There simply isn’t enough people on the BfA server Kilrogg/Nagrand/Runetotem EU to sustain the guilds which are on it at this time.

I do /who and see that all the guilds which had an average of 30 players online at peak playing times, now have around 10 to 15 at peak times. Others have around 5 people. The server is suffering since Classic. We need more realms merged to it, but sadly people are not complaining to blizzard enough to make it happen.

Making more guilds with the same name or other name, will not work at the moment. If they merge more servers so that we can recruit more players, then with the current cap, I would have to remove some of the more casual players in order to improve the activity of the guild. The cap is too low.
