Are there any plans for changes to the number of guild members in raid group requirement for guild achievements in Dragonflight, given the large numbers of players rolling Alliance/Horde? The current number seems designed for a different era of WoW now.
We are running into an issue where our Mythic Plus group are all rerolling to dwarf, we are done with the tier now, but i can imagine if things stay the same it could be an issue for next tier. Not getting guild achievements due to too many alliance will definitely suck.
Unless Blizzard has got cross-faction guild changes on the horizon for DF.
Was about to refer to the same thing! I think it probably will be implemented in DF at some point because there’s definitely interest from the wider community on it.
Lore wise: Don’t we have multiple “guilds” in the lore, that have alliance and horde chars? E.g. the shadow priest club of the Forsaken (Forgot name) has a Human leader, or defias, that have tauren, goblins, and humans. I’m not seeing a reason, why we can’t have guilds of both factions outside of them not willing to give up income from server transfers, and faction changes yet
Not long ago, I recieved the typical spam message from someone recruiting for a guild, we talked for a good 15 minutes and I agreed to join, since we had common goals and he seemed very nice and professional.
Guess what, we were from different servers and we met on a cross server situation so he couldn’t invite me.
Joining guilds should be allowed across factions and servers, it makes no sense that they make emphasis on “being nice, helping others, socialize, etc” and then they forbid you to do so.
