So with the Elixir of Tongues now widespread, what hotspots are there for cross-faction RP at the moment?
May as well compile a list for folks who want in on the action, save them the chore of flying around looking for any randoms.

I’ve seen some RP going on in Booty Bay.
Ratchet and Dalaran (Broken isles) seem good bets too. I hear Uldum has some stuff going on as well.

As aforementioned here, Booty Bay has definitely seen a renewal in RP through cross-faction and Uldum has been an active place for quite some time, even to public events hosted there.
Hopefully with the added incentive to truly get into cross-faction RP it may spread to other neutral towns as well as other various places that could be used in general, too. There’s a whole world out there that’s disregarded for a couple of cities.

Being a Horde-loyal, Alliance slaughtering, Wyrnn hating Tauren I’ve not really ventured out into looking for cross-faction hotspots, but I would love to see Hearthglenn become a spot for people to congregate, especially Argent/Silver Hand/Conclave players.
I’d actually tend to use Northrend Dalaran for a few reasons.

Less players, maybe not so much an issue nowadays but I think NuDalaran probably still has more traffic.

Less NPCs using EVERY GOD DAMN CHAIR EVER. Seriously, compare the legerdemain between the two. The old one has tons of chairs and tables, all empty. The new one has far less of each but has what few chairs exist occupied by NPCs. I think there’s -one- table with 3 chairs that doesn’t have an NPC sitting at it. Also all the stools in the New Horde inn face the same direction, hope you like having your back to the table!
(Both are an annoying habit of Blizz since MoP, cramming neat potential RP areas with NPCs either filling the chairs or otherwise perfect empty spaces, or otherwise constantly spouting one of two lines every half minute. I miss when we had stuff like the Park which had MULTIPLE empty buildings just for RPers, but I digress…)

Access to the Purple Parlour, which makes an ideal meeting room. I think you can get to it in NuDalaran too but only if you have flying, and it’s filled with furniture and I think has phasing issues. The one in Old Dalaran is easily accessible via a portal in the Citadel and has no furnishings, just a big open space.

The Underbelly in Old Dalaran can be freely explored top to bottom. In NuDalaran half of it is dedicated solely to rogues and the other half is a PvE/PvP area that regularly gets filled with mobs or enemy players.
But yeah, I used Old Dalaran (Not to be confused with the crater) as an RP hub for years. I only wish it had been used by more people during Legion. The new version in the Isles is just riddled with issues.
NuDalaran’s Portrait Room is really nice though, just a shame one of the libraries has a permanent fel portal in it if you did the artifact quests. But the one opposite is fine.

It’s a bad time to mention this, but there was once a peace summit down in Hearthglen, perhaps one of the coolest “village hour” sort of event I have attended (or at least it was similar to a village hour event).
Plenty of people attended, ideals clashed, people came to an understanding, some left still feeling bitter towards the opposing faction while others learnt to respect an enemy in their own way.
During war time though, we can’t have the exact same event. At the minute, I can assume the neutral orders will meet up or maybe Dalaran invites the Sunreavers and the Silver Covenant to a ball or something.

The RP that goes on in Uldum is unfortunately some of the worst I’ve ever seen.
Wouldn’t recommend.

We are trying to start an RP hub in Silverpine/Gilneas/Hillsbrad now, with both Alliance and Horde. Not much luck at the moment, bu hopefully, it will pick up soon.

Had a nice meeting with some of the Timewalkers at the caverns, and we had a visitor as well. Not a hotspot I guess but still worth to mention in case anyone wants to experience that kind of rp.
Dont forget to bring the potion.
