Hi,
As you know Blizzard have banned players from Russia from buying system. So amount of players on rus servers have dropped.
I’m not from Russia, but I’m playing on rus servers. And it sad to see servers deserted. Since last Friday I’m trying to find a raid group using LFR to kill Jailor. I cant find LFR for almost a week.
So, I remember, when there was an issue with queues in PVP, you Blizzard made a possibility to play PVP cross language servers. Maybe you can add such a possibility for PVE?
Or give me a free transfer. It’s yours shenanigans, why should I suffer?
If you’re not from Russia, you should play outside of that server. We all would love a cheaper WoW, but not at the cost of playing a Russian-only version of the game.
The reason why it can’t happen is communication and also the differences in regional prices. If Russia was opened up to Europe (KEKW), then you’d have a whole mess of communication, Russians wanting to speak Russian, while everyone else speaking mainly English.
Russian matchmaking is still exclusive to Russians. This is in pve and pvp. Lots of people think they faced a Russian premade when they check the pvp list and see the other team is all Russians, but most of the time, it’s just a random group, just Russians are their own region for matchmaking.
When you say that you’re not from Russia, meaning you don’t currently live there?!
If that’s the case, what’s so special about Russia, the people closest to you and the people furthest away, they’re generally the same for the most part.
Russian servers were not played only by Russian players. Usually, people from other eastern countries like Ukraine, Georgia, Kazakhstan, and the Balkans countries also play on Russian servers. In fact, due to the problem with Russia Blizzard has changed its payment system to allow currencies from Georgia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, and Turkey. At least the 3 first countries use to pay on Russian rubles.
Only with gold or if gifted. Otherwise they cant. At least not with ruble. A regular purchase is banned from Blizzard side for all accounts registered to russian users for all their services.
Russians cant buy stuff from Blizzard as i have said. Blizzard stated this. The only thing they can do is buy tokens with gold or have stuff gifted to them.
Even if Russians can play with tokens this does not means all Russian players are able to continue paying. You won’t believe that all population is able to pay with gold, didn’t you? And those who pay with gold and condemned to eventually not being able to pay, a server only populated with token buyers is a server waiting to die. People who pay tokens with gold usually make gold from the AH, how do you expect Russians to earn gold for a token if there is no one left to expend their gold on the AH.
Just like there can’t be a society with rich people and no poor people there couldn’t be a server populated only by gold token buyers.
And who will pay for those boosts? Other Russian players, who couldn’t afford to pay a boost with gold because they need the gold to also pay for the token?
A server with only gold buyers is like a society with only rich people. It couldn’t exist because rich people need poor people to earn their money.
There could be Russian players still buying the token but eventually, their gold will run out and they won’t be able to obtain more, because they are playing in realms of only rich players, and such Russian realm’s economy will eventually collapse. The only question is when, but it will happen.
And you realize that it is impossible for 100% of Russian players to become boosters right? Even if a few Russian players are able to effort continue boosting to pay the token there is still a vast majority of Russian players who won’t be able to continue playing. An irrelevant minority of Russian players paying the token won’t change the fact that the majority of Russians are out and therfero russian realms will die soon.
WoW tokens can be transformed to the game-time, yes. But they cannot use them to buy next expansion. There will be no players from Russian in the Dragons island.
Imagine if there will be something similar like Legendries in Shadowlands. They will cost tons of gold on my server.
You do not have to suffer. There is a way out but it involved re rolling. They will not give anyone a free nothing im afraid. Instead of using you time to join non existing queues you could be levelling on another realm. If money is a issue you can sell some pets from your cage tab box. I had to do this a couple of years ago because the realm I was on died. That was frostwhisper. I never looked back. I still visist him sometimes and see that realm has gotten slightly busier.
