Cross region transfering/playing/accounts, please?

As the title says, kind of a lazy post because whatever i’ll say has been echoed thousands of times but i’ve immigrated from Canada to the UK and would love to play with my friends and family without having to drop my 2004 NA account and start fresh.

Beating a dead horse, been requested for eons. Blizz DGAF.

Meanwhile other MMOs it’s done np.

Yeap this is something people have asked for and Blizzard keeps on lying to us due to the reason they’re unable to do it.

They can do, they just don’t want too!

They most definitely can, all that nonsense about technical issues are absolute BS. Websites can literally see what achievements and collections people got…

Yeah I remember they said some crap about servers and data blah blah blah.

To be honest, I think if they did this, they would actually get a bit more revenue from people making a 2nd or 3rd account, some people returning because they can now play with their friend or family members who live across the ocean, with a simple regional transfer.

Sure they could double the cost of the transfer, as it costs them nothing to move your character from 1 spot to another, as it’s all fully automated.

I think they just don’t want to put the time, effort & money into getting the systems created to allow this to happen.

Lazyness over profit… first time you’ll see this is any company where their goal is to make money xD

Just like Shadowlands, if enough people cause trouble, they’ll find the “ripcord”.

Game is 2 decades old, people grew up and moved countries… like, come on.

I’d be miffed too had I had the same issue, I moved countries back in '96, had I moved after WoW I’d be stuck on the oceanic servers from Ireland – the complete opposite end of the planet. :grimacing:

I know during the time of WoW, I’ve lived in 3 different countries, but thankfully it’s all be within Europe, so no need to worry about regional accounts xD

But I do have a US WOW account from when the game first released in the US before releasing in Europe a month or two later.
