It could utilise an existing cryptocurrency or Blizz could even create their own “Blizz Coin” for in game purchases ? Players could mine with their graphics cards when not gaming and save up for that next mount. Just an idea guys - what do you think ? Pls reply with your thoughts / ideas 
Cryptocurrencies are bad. They use a ton of power, and most are implemented badly to begin with. Crypto currency tied to a single vendor is also rather pointless. You could just mine bitcoin or any of the existing ones, sell it, and buy gametime on that, and you’d likely be better off. Not to mention that a “Blizz Coin” would not net Blizzard any money, so why would they do that?
A crypto currency is only useful if both parties can benefit from it. I don’t see how Blizzard would.
