Cult of the damned guild?

Is there any Cult of the damned guilds available for the horde? I've been trying to find one but so far i haven't succeeded in doing so. Because of this i've been considering making one myself. On that note i'd love to know people's thoughts on it and if anyone would like to assist me in the making of said guild.

Thanks in either case.

I would love to see a cult of the damned guild, but I'm not exactly sure how they would fit in the new scourge, as Bolvar seems dismissive of the living, even as servants. That kind've challenges a major philosophy of the cult as it viewed the lich king as a god and undeath as paradise

To be more specific; The guild will most likely only be available for dk's or undead players.

Just do it. Now. Please. We need CotD. I would be more than interested tbf! As a long time loyal scourgie, this is all my yes.

Edit: Also, lots of the COTD are living! Would be nice to see living members too.

The Cult of the Damned was active in the Plaguelands as of Cata - they rejected Bolvar / were unaware that the Lich King had been replaced and were continuing the mission of the Scourge as it was under Arthas.

The overwhelming majority of all members of the Cult of the Damned were living, as they were serving the Lich King willingly in exchange for power, immortality and typical cult nonsense.

There was one that sprung up a few month ago, I think they might have disbanded though since I've not seen nor heard from them since. It would be nice though, sadly I've seen far too many CotD guilds pop up on Alliance only for them to disband a few weeks after they make their forum post.

None as I know. AD is having a lack of evil guilds perse anyways. Also keep in mind that the cross-faction addon exists so it doesn't have to be X faction only. It can be both.

Lacks of evil guilds because most players don't wanna deal with evil chars and the consequences that go with it (aka getting hurt/killed).
Or cause people meta the evil roleplayers a lot to "bust them" and pretend they are Professor Layton or Derrick.
Or cause people seemingly want to kill "evil" chars more than they want to kill the Horde or the Forsaken.

Being Evil ain"t easy.

But seeing more Cult would be 10/10

Out of personal experience, it seems that it's more often than not the "good guys" making use of things like TRP scan to root you out. I will however admit that I don't like killing off a character just because they're on the evil side of the spectrum, especially when the hero doesn't actually know you've done anything wrong.

Probably the same way it kept existing after WotLK: as a collective of ruthless individuals who utlize necromantic magic to achieve their ambitious goals of attaining an ever-increasing amount of power and eventually ascending to lichdom. Some may even be trying to find Kel'thuzad's phylactery, if they haven't secured it already. All of which is possible independently of the Scourge.

Either way, they were still shown to exist as recently as Legion. So if you are feeling evil and spooky, go for it. After all...

The damned stand ready.

I like to imagine there are ex-Scourge factions acting independently of Bolvar. However, there's little evidence to suggest that Bolvar doesn't quietly support them. He's done some dark !@#$.

Thank you all for your thoughts, i really appreciate it! As mentioned, i'd love for someone to help me out with said guild/community considering i've never really taken lead of a guild by myself.

So, if you are willing to lend a helping hand, just reply to me here or hit my character Grazdul up through whispers or my ally char Chadricc.

FYI: I've actually made the guild now. It's called ' Acolytes of Mordrethar ' . The guild is on the alliance though, and basically every race is allowed into the cult. But, we're only two people so far and would love some help with fleshing out the backstory of the guild and making some solid rules, etc. If anyone would like to help me with this, just whisper my mage " Chadricc ".
