Was sort curios if there an intrest in westfall rp. Possible extantion of sort of the Westfall Brigade or similar?
Westfall rp waxes and wanes with the seasons - usually on the latter half of expansions when people are feeling the sting of boredom. There’s often sporadic activity in the area, but rarely anything considered major.
Which is a shame, it’s a lovely zone with a real rustic backdrop to it. But unlike the Barrens and the Horde, the Alliance seem to have a strange inconsistent relationship with rp there - it’s close to the capital hub but also a bit -too- close. It attracts niche rp, but also attracts the drifters from Stormwind in a way the Crossroads generally doesn’t attract the Valley of Honour’s finest.
Would be nice to see it get the attention Darkshire and Lakeshire have gotten recently.

I’ve seen guilds go there for events on occasion but never casual roleplay, as in ‘this place is a hub’ like you see with org/silvermoon/sw.
I’ve been mulling over the idea of doing something with Moonbrook that sort of turns it into some rustic hub that suits the setting of Moonbrook without it being, well, all dizzied up and fancy. It’s just a matter of trying to execute it. : D

Aye, I’ll probably work on something once my two week string of events in February that I’m hosting is over. Then I can no life ideas that can contribute towards this.

I always figured that the use of phasing kind of ruined the zone, at least the main city anyway
and ofc there are the hostile npcs in moonbrook who would make it hard to enjoy roleplay for lower levels but that is negated by the simple fact most roleplayers are usually pretty high level when they finally decide to rp.
well you know what they say, if you want something done right, do it your self (or with a team of likeminded people)

I was thinking of making a westfall brigide section, that base itself around Westfall yet not shy away from the Alliance conflict but mainly safekeep Westfall and attempt a rebuild of it. It could easyly be split into civilians and westfall brigide soldeirs.
It is a lovely zone and the phasing can sort of be work around.
rebuilding, bandit patrolling, coyote hunting, gnoll population control, murloc extermination.
plenty of stuff for a westfall force to do, which reminds me is the westfall rangers still around?

Indeed somthing in that line of rebuilding, bandit hunting etc, a concept around it.
Some Westfall community would be fun. For my Kul Tiran, I want him to have been swindled into buying farmland where he’s left with no option to leave, so he makes up a ranch. Have some animals, crops, and the like. I don’t have the energy of time to start a community around Westfall, but if somebody did!

Well am intrested in making a guild center around westfall, if intrest is there. Prehabs use Moonbrook area for basecamp.
The Westfall Rangers indeed aren’t around anymore mate. But we never were the defenders of Westfall.
The unit’s name referred to where the regiment was formed, just like how the Stormwind Infantry went all over the world rather than exclusively RP in Stormwind.

The Twelfth pops into Westfall from.time to time, for events. I believe we will visit again soon , wish you all the best with this initiative.

Am currenly working on Project Westfallian that have both civilian and military sector both center around Westfall and its intrest.
