Prices for consumables are kinda insane atm, just look at how expensive weapon enchants are
Even “worse” blue version are too expensive for something that we will be changing multiple times in the next weeks. Same goes for phial, potions and gems. Obviously prices will slightly go down as more people advance further in professions, enchanting crystals will become cheaper as purple gear becomes more common. However, the problem is elemental reagents that are required for most crafts. Awakened air is 350g atm and you need 4 of those for cheapest weapon enchant…

Do you guys think Blizzard should do something about these prices or this is how it’s gonna be from now on?

Blizzard will not get involved with pricing on the AH.

It’s a player driven market.

the prices are fine with me. they are actually cheaper than normal for me due to the AH spanning all servers. With other trade goods being so cheap it gives people wich want to make some gold a good thing to farm and sell.

I prefer to pay my gametime with gametokens bought with gold

That’s not what I said? They could adjust what reagents are required for certain recipes. They’ve done it before

Actually Weapon enchants are incredibly Cheap and sold at a massive loss for Rank 1 and 2. Rank 3 are expensive because only 1 person who exploited Artisan Rep can craft them. The Glowing Titan Orbs are insane hard to come by.

However, at this point of the game, you really don’t need Rank 3 enchants unless you’re pushing for World Firsts.

But I warn you, tomorrow morning those prices will sky rocket as demand rises.

What server were you playing on that you had weapon enchants more expensive than it is now 2 weeks into expansion?

That is possible but for me the bigger issue is the ranking system affect. Also it amuses me with many things that the lowest quality isn’t always the cheapest, when talking about materials.

10k for quality 1 blue enchant is insane, never have weapon enchants were so expensive 2 weeks into expansion

Any low pop server used to have higher prices than medium or high pop servers. For everything there were way less people offering goods. so more scarsity and less competition caused higher prices.

Tbh i preferred the high prices because it made farming stuff worth it. Just look at hochenblume prices on the AH. Its so low that i dont even bother to dismount for it anymore

I just asked if people think blizzard should do “something” about it and you twist it into me saying blizzard should get involved with pricing on the AH? Stop being an instigator

Go to group finder > custom and search: Glowing Titan Orb Farm.

Go and farm 3 Orbs, it might take you 5 minutes, it might take you an hour.

Go to AH sell those Orbs, and you’ll have 18-21k to buy the weapon enchant you need at Rank 1.

i am not touching the professions same as shadowlands. its a gold sink unless ur monopoly in the start like people are doing now and GOOD FOR THEM. first come first served

btw you DONT NEED any enchants etc, unless youre top mythic raider/pvper/realm first m+

They probably will do after the RWF is over. They use low drop rates to drive up prices to add a level of challenge to RWF.

One of the many reasons why RWF ruins the game for everyone else.

They involved with the pricing before by increasing spawns/drop rates before ( bfa anchor weed example , pots and flasks were costing a fortune cuz anchor weed was rarer then invincible. I remember selling 1 herb for 800g ) .

I get crucified for pointing this out during beta. Basically enjoy spending a fortune on consumes it is kinda too late atm. Kinda sucks for myself since i need 2 enchants for weapon. Also flask / potion prices aren’t looking too good.
