Why are blizzard focusing on bos? And why have they taken away our need for haste? Frost in Legion felt alot more mobile now we just lumux about we are now the snorlax of the wow classes. Do these changes make our mobility feel better or the lack of it more meaningful because the rotation/downtime has improved. But most importantly is the spec fun again with these 8.2 changes?. I had to leave my frost DK high and dry a few months back I just couldn’t get on with the lack of haste and the awful bos build. I’m willing to try bos again but only if the spec is fun again.
There’s probably a lot of focus on BoS since the playstyle with it has been so bad. 30% downtime in a rotation is not fun! The other two talents experience much less downtime and don’t have any specific issues with them, they’re just undertuned.
Nothing has changed in regards to mobility. We still have DA and Wraith Walk as our options when it comes to mobility. Current changes do not affect this.
Spec plays so much better with the changes. It’s much more active and has less downtime. If we pick the Lucid Dreams minor, it might be even smoother. Currently unclear if this will be the best choice for DPS.
Haste will most likely not see a resurgence, Mastery and Crit are just too bae.
Breath does -10% damage generates 2 runes at the end, frost strike is 15% buffed, icecap CD is now 3! am i suppose to be impressed by these changes??? even after 8.2 frost will still be trash spec
then you’d best go with another class. Cause if you fail to understand these changes, then FDK isn’t for you. Check out Hazard Gaming on UT if you’re willing to learn a thing or 2 about the upcoming changes
I wouldn’t personally recommend Hazzed (which I assume you meant) for any analysis on the changes. It’s a bit too much feelycraft and sensationalism for my taste. I recommend reading this article instead:
