for now, the 2 pc got an high proccrate, so we have always stacks up - this makes the 4pc completely useless. At its current state, we better play no 4pc until it got reworked.

Solution Ideas:

  1. Drop the proccrate, but buff up the healing by a good amount.
  2. Let the 4pc generates Absorb Shields like: Casting Thunder Focus Tea guarantees that your next 2 cast of Tiger Palm will trigger a Harmonic Surge which is converted to Absorbshield. The Absorbshields can’t go higher then x% from the Monks HP.
  3. % Healing increase: Casting Thunder Focus Tea guarantees that your next 2 cast of Tiger Palm will trigger a Harmonic Surge and increase it’s healing by X % for X sec.

4p is really useless… need rework for 4p !

The set as a joke is at last in PvP absolute useless

It have terrible stats

It force you in melee range press a button that’s doesn’t have another function at all, a dead global otherwise for a tiny aoe splash heal
If at last Blackout kick or rsk Trigger it

You cannot use it as Caster MW

It turns out for pve, especially m+, you can have a good play around. PvP it could be good, but yea, in melee you are completely vulnerable.

If you drop the proccrate we are doomed. The only thing that maintains mistweaver at an OK level in key is the 2P + mending proliferation under high amount of haste dumping all GCD into tiger palm and we can only do that because we don’t care about the number of stack of the 2P.
Sadly it is too late to change 4P mechanism, blizzard should have done that during PTR when we already told them … But they can still make the 2P proc on vivify which could help healing when we are not in melee range (and for pvp).
They could also add a line to the 4P like “increase the maximum harmony by 100%” in order to let the 4P do something while still being easy to implement but they will never do that :slight_smile:

I do 600 k dps on dawnbreaker 12, as mistweaver, our healing output do not match other classes, we do healing while damaging , and every other healing spec does 1.5 m dps , and have outstanding cd’s for hps , they can easily range healing.I ask u guys , what s the advantage playing a spec which does healing trough damage, if even our dps output is lower than other classes ?I am harmony mw , if i play celestial i do even trasher damage, so …what s the point playing fistweaver ?? i ll give the answer , we don t have any other choices , because, last patch when the cry baby s complained about ur damage, we got 4 nerfs in a row , and now when they are super op, they are satisfiied, while us as mw we struggle answering why we continue to play this spec , what s our benefit for grps playing as mw ? Just go to warcraft logs and check what other specs do .Please blizz nerf our damage one more time , and delete fistweaver spec.

Yea its a bit frustrating to see other healers do so much dmg now… but honestly it doesnt decides the meta currently, because there are not that much pres evoker.

The amount of our heal multiplier is still a problem and you need good execution and ramp for it ( casting 2 envm into tft rsk renm rsk tp spam or 3 envm into tft rsk sck spam depends on pullsize like prio ). Vivify heals for like 1,5M w/o multiplier and for 5-5,5M with all multiplier which is incredible hard to stack fast enough. It feels horrible for a melee healer if you need to cast so much to get benefit out of it when you need it.

I mean its overall a better healing situation for us, but other healers pump more dmg and heal like you mentioned and they got nice/better utility.

Amp are a big concern and one day blizzard will have to reduce them and REALLY offset the toolkit and not just dump every buff into sheilun gift but right now they could add some QoL change that could not make MW op in raid and still largely increase our perf in M+.
First EnvM has to be instant cast or PiP be baseline in order to help with ramp in M+ because right now trying to heal without chi harmony AND mending proliferation is impossible and ramp is a big headache.
Second sheilun gift has to be baseline 1.5 sec cast and 5 target. They increase sheilun gift 4 or 5 times in a row because it is an easy solution in order to not increase our perf in raid but it is still only use as a buff tool through shaohao lessons because we have to take mending proliferation if we want to heal so we cant take legacy of wisdom.
I think if they implement those 2 things maybe in 11.2.5(7) mistweaver could be competitive.

I did a priory 12, and my harmony spec set bonus did under 1% healing overall , this is a joke , a really bad one .You don t have time to cast tiger palms healing trough 2-3 packs together .

No, the tierset got a good healing throughput especially when u ramp for it.

In average i got like 800M Harmonic Surge and 1,3 Ancient Teaching healing if a 15 goes smoothly. So its basically the number 2 healong output, sadly with over 2B overheal.

I admit i have a hard time using tiger palms when tanks pull 3-4 packs , and party goes to 10 % hp, but sure, i am glad that others manage to use it succesfully, i don t like this tier set at all , i am a raw healing mindest, i hate ramp ups , thinking it is time to retire .

I guess if you hate ramp ups, MW is the worst spec you :smiley: without ramping properly, you will never heal higher keys ( if you want to ).

I mean the ramp up is not to hard if you need for specific bosses as an example.

Go 2x envmist hardcast into tft - rsk - renmist - rsk and spam tiger palm. Just learn this pattern and figure out if you need more like a SG before or Chiji for another 10 % increase.

And if your not ramping just go yournormal rotation 2x tp bok rsk and weave in cjl if you need it.

Tbh i couldnt tell, what the tank was pulling and what your struggling with ( maybe too much casters ?)

I play mistweaver since Pandaria, but i think i am too old for this level of gameplay .That kind of combo which u described, honestly , it feels like it is too much for me .Pug tanks they always take packs with 5-6 casters , that s how pug tanks are doing, i struggle at bosses as well, feels like chi ji 10 sec duration is too low , even with 40% haste the over 1 sec gcd between tiger palms seems an eternity in which my party is dying , in short i don t trust that my ancient teachings healing is enough , in dungeons which i did succesfully i had almost 100 casts of vivify and around 80 ems.Thanks for tips, i ll give a couple of go s , but i down with morale and my capacity of healing high keys.

Its never enough to outheal bossmechaics purely with ancient teachings or chiji or setbonus alone. Its good for a sustained amount, but for real damage you need to rotate cjl and harmonic surge ramps / chiji ramps and revival / cocoon / selfdefence.

Just practice it especially on bosses like 5 secs before their damage goes out. Mending proliferation is a must have btw.

Its also a bad idea to start panic and throw wildly vivifys end envmists, thats something where you can quickly fall back behind. Better throw a tft into envmist into CJL to stabilize with your normal melee rotation.

In certain keys i like to play jade bond for nasty overlaps like in dawnbreaker or priory, while gift of the celestials fits very very good in floodgate.

what still stirs my mind is that we don t bring anithing special to the table, even our damage is lower than other healers, what s the point playing a class which does healing trough damage if our damage is lower than theirs ? Why would u take a mw and not a shammy or resto shammy ? Why would u choose a mw, which things get bad , he is vulnerable if he can t hit mobs .And each extra damage there are plenty of chances that that person will die, and pugs knows that they need a healer who can easily recover that, and mw can t do that .Our only utility is 5% phisicall damage increase .I did go on warcraft logs and saw interesting things on healer statistics .I ll be short, our damage does not makes us important, our healing is signifiantly lower, extra damage taken gap, mw fill harder, we are melle dependent, tier set is mediocre and fun factor is low.It s pain to play this spec, and without damage dealing advantage we bring NOTHING to table .
