Custom group finder - Horrific Visions advert spammers

Now I don’t mind the services channels (you can turn it off), which are nonstop spammed with people/companies selling their services to players for gold, which they either share between the players or sell it on RMT websites…

Anyway, but why are there solo andy’s putting their adverts in the custom group finder? I’m sure it’s against the rules to use this feature of the game to advertise your stuff/services, right?

Just a little bit of advice, if you see people doing this when you search for “visions”, make sure to report them for advertising and tag them as a gold selling website. They’ll end up getting a 24-hour ban if enough people report them… win/win!

This is one area where it would be great if AI could just sort it all out.

Yeap, well it’s not really true AI.

But they could indeed use deepseek or another AI concept search & reply engine to review the text and then make changes on the fly when people try and get around the detection.

Just start giving out a simple yet effective warning:

"Stop putting adverts in x channel/x game feature.

THIS IS YOUR FIRST & ONLY WARNING! Continuing to do this will result in a 24-hour silence being applied to your whole battle.net account.

If it continues after those 24 hour expires, it will result in a 72-hour full battle.net suspension."
