As the title suggests, customer support doesn’t seem to be working in-game and it has been that way for at least the last 3 days for me. I just have an endless loading circle… I have asked multiple other people in-game, and they are all seeing the same thing I do. I have tried the following to fix it:
Turning off my addons
Deleting my cache
Renaming my addon and WTF folder before relaunching the game
Using the /console cvar_default command in the hope that does something
Ideally I’d have submitted a ticket about this but none of the categories/options in the web browser contact customer support menu seem to let me just submit a ticket, or otherwise they suggest I contact in-game support…
EDIT: Character issue seemed to be localized to that one new character, making new characters on Exiles Reach/lvl 10 was fine.
Had a go using it before but I didn’t think there seemed to be an appropriate category/some of them wanted system files which I’m pretty sure won’t hold the answer. Anyhow I’ve submitted one under chat/interface problems now so will see what happens.
We’re currently working on an issue where the in-game support site won’t load in some cases.
For now, you can work around this by logging out to the character select screen and then in again.
If you restart the game after that you’d need to once again log in to a character -> log back out to char select -> log in to the character again and the support site should be available again.
A permanent solution to the root cause is of course on the way as well!
It didn’t work for me like 2 days ago (same issue; endless loading circle), but I just tried it and it works now. Seems they gave it a nice overhaul too.
I have the same problem since I came back to the game around three years ago. It never worked on any game installation (I tried it on three computers). I never used any addons, I tried to reset interface, to create a new character to try it but it did not work anywhere. I do not care about this feature too much but now I wanted to report a bug and discovered that it is possible only through the game menu. It it not much important and I can do without it but it would be great if it would work.
I have the same error still. This one time it fixed itself after i changed wifi and i opened a ticket. Now it is bugged still, with the ticket popup on the screen which i cannot get rid off, because the menu never loads. It’s bugging me to the top, since i tried with no addons, the only thing remains is reinstall, but I don’t want to do that because i will have to re-fix the addons after. Is this error still being worked on?
