Customisation is seriously lacking

i mean, the whole classic wow is like that and people seem to enjoy it.

I think this is technical and would require alot of effort and probably resources to do, something Blizzard doesn’t have. Either out of laziness or becouse it ends in Bobby’s yacht, maybe both. It would require also to make all the transmogs and some toys to work with any size of the model. Knowing Blizzard, it would be just an opera of cliping and most ppl wouldn’t use it due to it anyway.

If the races have the same model and are on the same faction like Mag’har or LFD, they should themselves be a customisation, which you would unlock after fulfilling the requirements and we wouldnt have the issues with some races being locked to new or returning players until they do that. You would just make basic green orc and just siwtch to brown at barber after you would complete the stuff.

They only had 20 years to add more options.

I want my toon to have a BBL amongst other enhancements.

I think it makes the lore worse.

You’d think Draenei with spaceships and lasers would have destroyed tribes of savages with sticks, back in Draenor.

This is a good point: going back to AU Draenor and seeing Draenei having super-duper bodysuits would make someone think how did they manage to lose to Orcs with axes. Even Garrosh did not have that “modern” firepower to upgrade the Iron Horde

are you seriously expecting REAL content? really now???
this is just about milking money with minimal effort. hence these ridiculous patches. more accurate:
ruin a spec to make people switch to other spec/class like sheep. and waste your time gearing. because that, too, will soon be ruined. plus gear reset every few months.
a student can produce such patches in the bathroom in 30 minutes and people are somehow busy.

old recycled dungeons and “new” dungeons that looks like an open world map says it all.

We would, the excuse is that Velen is strictly imposing fanatic pacifist ethic on us.

We could def do with more customization options but I really dont want anything like the options you get in most asian MMOs.
The characters there always seem to look very generic and ‘samey’. The appeal of WoW to me is the unique cartoony style. Its a part of why its aged so well IMO.
Id love to see more skins introduced like dark rangers and high elves. Obviously they are doing that but there are so many more options we could have!

The Draneii crash-landed in a ship that barely could get them there after a scuffle with the big bad Legion. They slowly started to repair and building their community. A peaceful one at that. Now add that the Draneii was trying to stay on the low-low, they also did try to suppress the worst of their magical signatures. So, trying to go back into space and orbit, probably big no-no.

Never forget, the Draneii were peacefully co-living with the natives as far as it could go. Never pursuing to go further. Simply because, 1) Velen is a good guy, 2) There is a heck’a’lot more of the others than the Draneii. Push come to show, the natives united, the Draneii would get overwhelmed and quickly.

It would have been going alright too for the Draneii. The orcs could not really contest with the Draneii, as the spacegoats had all the advantages. Technology and weaponry, great arrays of defensive works and constructs powered by magics that would fry orcs in horrid numbers if they tried. No sapient being with any sense of self-preservation would attack that. Only one driven by desperation. If an orc, ogre or grong clan tried, they would be left weakened to all the other factions of Draenor, so it never made any sense to try attacking the peaceful goat people at extreme costs. Why would you?

Through the Fel - the blood of demons, demonic qualities were ‘gifted’ the orcs. A horde - fueled and united with targeted bloodlust, threw themselves and slaughtered the under-prepared defenders in a torrent of violence that could not be halted. (Also some stuff about how the Fel that was released by the corrupted shamans blasted the land, made the Light unable to intervene or influence the scene - Turning Draneii into the broken and similar subspecies of Eredar, yet that is probably dated by now - as the Fel and Light works together in harmony in Lightforged Draneii Warlocks).

So - the Draneii if they had the spaceships and the possibility to go all out, they probably would easilly destroy the tribes initialy. Yet, if they did, it is very likely the elements of Draenor itself would try to throw them out. Especially Orc shamans had very good relations with them. Would prove to be hard to grow crops as the very earth decided to work against you. Magma spewing up into your cities and typhoons ravaging anything towering over the waterline. The space goats would likely need a new home after all.

The Iron Horde abandoned and enslaved the elements to fuel their warmachine. The Horde destroyed the very lands with the shamans the elements trusted with Fel-rituals that tore the planet apart.

Poor elements, they just trying to be around and in balance. Feels bad man.

Well said. But space goats being too peacful is on them. Gul’dan was obviusly turning the orc clans against them. The orcs were uniting and being suspicious, Draenei should have preemptively attack the not fully assembled Horde and the massacre would have been averted but they would still have to leave becouse The Legion and especially Kil’Jaeden knew where they were and he was obsessed with hunting them.

The ogres even tried as they were mad that Shattrath was build on their holy site as it was the same place where their city of Goria once stood.

Nah, the curse was conjured by Legion for this specific purpose. Altough I agree there is need for more lore regarding Krokuls. In a case of warlocks and Krokuls I’m convinced that Draenei mutates towards Krokul if the Fel is not accepted by the individual, if the one accepts it and using it willingly aka warlock, any corruption and mutation will go towards Man’ari Eredar. The problem simply is that anyone who believes their couse is just and righteous can call upon The Light, and that includes even demons like that Shivarra boss in Black Temple (and that’s where the Krokul problem is, those affected by the initial curse are explained, but the rest? What about the Argussian ones? Why they can’t call upon the Light if they meet the requirements?) I agree that regarding LFD warlocks would be nice to have more insights, like if the Light lessens the effects of Fel or if they lose the Light empowerment in time. I would go with the first.

Very good point, let me point out how orcs with the help of the elements destroyed the said ogre city of Goria.
