Customizable Bear/Cat forms

So what if we could customize the forms we already have? Like the boomkin form have the options to change color, glows, horns, beak w/e.

What if we can do that to our Cat and Bear form, even flying/aquatic?
Let’s take the new fel werebear
Add scars? Change tattoos? Color scheme of body and tattoo? change snout, eye color, add some dreadlocks, hair, maine, split color.

Even with the cat forms, same thing, add different kind of trails, specially on the fire cat, just like Magetower cat, instead of sparkle, what about flames, smoke? leaving fire paws when you run?

And the classhall mount for druid, there is so many cool colors of it for every race, but no color option (except the new green one, personally not a favorite) But I do like the Worgen color as it’s white, but is not usable as I main horde myself.

Maybe, just maybe, this could be a good outcome, make us customizable in our forms?
I mean, since we spend 99% in forms, and we have so little customization on the class/shapes, compared to other classes that have tons of options of transmog and weapons

Edit: Also bring back the 2 legged catform from WoD, like dude… Why even remove it in the first place.

They’re not even adding more customization options for old races.

Mage Tower appearances are closed case.
This is the way.
Politely asking for customizable werebear form ala new moonkin model.

No, its not.
You’re neither better than me nor Mage Tower is some special display of skill.
You were just there when it was available.
Not to mention the base mage tower skins were basically for free (regardless of the rest still not being so hard).

The only content that timing si relevent is high end PvP and World First/Mythic + timed.

Why is High end PvP any different from Mythic raiding in regards of cosmetics, is my question? I mean. Mythic raids you can solo and one shot bosses 2 expansions later, for what people worked their butts off 2 expansions earlier. And still get the same mounts/transmogs from, but PvP you can’t? That’s a bit weird.

I mean what could be done, is that you could get the mounts/transmogs as well in PvP if you win, let’s say X amount of games at a high rating, let’s say 2.4k? 2.1k? 1.8k? To get like a token, as you do with rated PvP satchels for those other mount, don’t you think that would be fair?

I literally didnt draw a distinction between Seasonal High- End PvP in terms of rewards in comparison with Mythic + and the race to world first and Ahead of the Curve.

The difference is:
Mage tower doesnt have seasonal rewards. People wouldnt be as mad if they could get a new season every PvE season in the mage tower in form of reskins or redesigns.
However we got a half-assed recolor of 1 out of the 5 skins instead.

I dont think that would be fair becuase you missed the season, and thats the reward of the SEASON.

Rewards gotta match the difficulty. Otherwise people would just skip the season until it gets easier.
There are also seasons who are extremely easy.
Which will result in people getting all the rewards while underperforming.
Seasons in PvP and PvE have that functionality too.

Mage tower doesnt have seasons, it had an apperance as an expansion feature and a dissapearance right after with a reappearance later on that doesnt follow the initial pattern of rewards, making it extremely dissapointing for neither old rewards are possible nor new ones match the pattern of previous rewards.
Mage tower is not competative gameplay either.
So it should have its difficulty set and evened out consistently (which shouldnt be hard to do) and rewards either available or consistent or both.

But race to world first, is the same as cutting edge, you don’t get anything different from completing the raid first week of release, compared to last (except for the Hall of Fame title, that drops off after around 1-2 month after season release)

Well I do think it would be, as normally the ELITE PvP set is just a recolor of Mythic PvE set, and the mythic PvE set, is farmable regardless of season or not.

Sure, but that should then also apply to transmog farming old raids, going by that logic. As they should lock the raids then after every season, as the only limited thing you get from PvE (raid wise) would be HoF title, and cutting edge achievment, nothing more. Same can be done with PvP then, keep your glad title and achievment, but release the cosmetics such as armor and mount.
Mythic +, well you can still grind out every dungeon for appearance as well, except for 0.1% title during the seaosn, and KSM/KSH mount. (that I do think they should not lock away, as there is no reason to do that imo) - people going for m+ as main content , me personally, never care or use those mounts, I go more for the higher score, and the challenge by itself.
Should make it like satchels, complete all dungeons after KSM/KSH rank, to obtain a satchel to buy any of the previous mount, so it can be grinded out by others.

No not really, unless you count competing with yourself for speed runs, less gear, less consumeables, making it into a competetive selfplay with and by yourself only, but no, it’s really not competetive at all.

Kind of like the Mage Tower the rereleased in Shadowlands, that scales gear and talents and so on… Just sad that you only get a recolored Tomb of Sargeras mythic set as a reward, and a fel werebear for guardian, and that’s it.

At this point just reroll to a class that can actually use transmogs if you want customization. With druid you’re missing out on so much.

From what I know the Curve achievement always rewards a mount that you cannot take once season is over.
Im not a PvE player but thats how it works from what I remember and im pretty convinced that without even googling its still the case.

I mean thats a fair point though I dont see PvP players having access to Mythic difficulty for the most part. While 1.8 is as accessable as “just que rated bgs” and you eventually get it.
So much so that you dont lose rating until 1.550.
A win at this MMR gives you around 120 + rating.
Meaning once you reach 1.5 , all you need is 2 wins.
Though admitedly you got a valid point but on the reverse the Curve mount is gone while the seasonal mount from casual pvp you can still get via the vendor using Vicious Saddles.

I dont wonna be that guy but 1.8 is for free. Especially after the introduction of Rated Bgs SoloQ, as i said.

Yes, really.
People barely even engage in it even with it having rewards.
Even horrific visions are more advanced and fun to play, objectively speaking.
Ffs even Torghast is more developed than the Mage Tower.
The only reason people wanted it in the first place was the OG rewards or a chance of new ones of similar qualities.

whatever that is i dont see people engage in it in this approach or at all outside of the rewards (or once rewards are obtained)
And just so you can see how my logic checks out:
People who play PvE can wait until the end of the season for most rewards but they dont, because thats not the only reason they PvE.

I don’t see a reason why it should be locked tbh. Sure the Curve mount is locked, Vicious saddles no, neiter is Mythic raid last boss mounts, but glad mounts yeah. what in the what.

If they should have a logic to the system here then, unlock glad and mythic raid mounts to be evergreen, and keep curve and seasonal vicious saddle mounts out of it, no? or vice versa. If we go by ‘‘difficulty curve’’

I don’t wanna be that guy, but 2k, 2.5 and even 3k is free as well. Mythic plus is not hard, at all. It’s scripted content against bots. Nothing changes, except stuff hits a bit harder and live longer by the level, that’s it. And people can 4 man boost up to 16-17s (that’s way over 3k rating to this day)

And yes, that I 100% agree on. Both new, and old rewards should be reintroduced.

There is actually some, not as wide audience as those who only hunt for achievs/one time rewards, but they do actually exist

Idk where anybody was focusing on mythic.

Nobody counts that after 10 years later that they gonna receive a specific reward, dude.

Neither i see a reason why Mage Tower is locked when its extremely unrewarding and nobody even wants to do it.

Was just to point out why there should be no seasonal rewards for cosmetic, achievments has a date, but transmog should be obtainable regardless of season or not, imo

Current magetower in retail is unlocked, but the rewards are garbanzo compared to the old mage tower, literally just recolored mythic Tomb of Sargeras mog, and a fel werebear.

i agree with that to the fullest, i just wanted to point out the inconsistency in that regard.

That is incorrect. The majority of PVPers never reaches 1800. You’re welcome to look up rating distributions on Drustvar yourself.
