Hey folks weekend is here once more, and this time we have a new expansion to deep dive into (remember that it isn’t even alpha yet)!
I think that the idea about customizable mounts are cool and that is something the community have ask for a long time (and long beard) and it makes a lot of sense to restrict players to use the dragon mount on dragon island since their goal is to make the sky over the island look like it is full of dragons.
My wish is that they make the customizable options like monuments in WoD. I want to see gladiator plates like big totem, drums, spikes and more for the pvp audience and for pve something for m+ KSM and something else for raiders.
Example: I want to look up and see “there fly’s a gladiator (cool), even if I don’t pvp myself!
There must be some kind of unique plates to the table that you don’t get free that make the mount rly badass!
Yeah. No need to reinvent the wheel. Let us use the mounts we already own. More varienty = more fun. No need to force everybody onto the same 5 dragons.
This is WoW, not “How to tame your Dragon”. We have dragons, yes, but also gryphons, wyvern, chimaeras etc. etc. Let them use the new flying, too!
I would like to see something like that, that practically every content has something to offer when it comes to customizing dragons. That would be really cool. Blizz pleasantly surprised me with this system and I hope there will be many customization options.
Why are we WoW players so narrow thinking? Blizzard try new and cool ideas as we asked them to do. I rather see this new customizable mounts then the old mounts that are heavily restricted. Glad mount that are unique since the player have chosen certain plates on their dragon, diffrent drums, spikes, helm and so on.
They don’t blizz let us “t-mog” the mount. And we can use our other mount on all other places in WoW. Let us have a open mind, sooner or later they will let us use all fly there!
Only thing i wish from them is that they unlock so we can use all dragons as fly in Dragon Island. That make more sense! And also that we can learn dragon flying for all dragons in WoW.
Yes that’s my main worries about the system. That they give us to few options!
Huh? To show different status between pvp and pve? Or what do you think about?
Yes that is true. But don’t we want anything new then just recolor of a drake, ant, hippo and so on? A glad mount that you can “t-mog” yourself with different spikes, helm, saddle, plates, and so on? And you earn different plates and stuff from s1, s2, and so on!
I think that the new system have much potential! But as always feel free the think otherwise this is IMO
I agree that in general they could see this as a way to move forward with mounts. I’m not sure they’d be able to do it with mounts of old, but I know nothing.
