Hello again Blizz. Amidst the bountiful roll-outs of additional customization to allied races happening currently and additional travel forms to be granted to druids, I think it’s only fair of us to ask that you backpedal on the puzzling decision to make the colors of druid forms RACE-bound. I don’t see the logic. Clearly, there are no issues copy-pasting already existing hair dyes to be made accessible for Void Elves, so why can’t my Kaldorei Lunarwing form be white, red, or brown? Including my Stag form? And I would very much appreciate it if my cat form is not forced to be a purple panther (Yes we have legion artifacts with varying effects and tints but those are legion artifacts. I am speaking of baseline options). There is no reason why a Kaldorei or Tauren druid can’t be any type of Felidae. We also have powerful Kaldorei druids with antlers, so why can’t their bear forms have antlers, for instance?
What if a druid travels to Kul Tiras with the intent to study drust magic and therefore adopts a more gnarled look, akin to the aesthetic which Kul Tiran humans have with their forms, just as an example?
You remove the fun by having all of these nonsensical restrictions. Bring back the fun by removing the restrictions instead. We are plenty of people who are passionate about druids and want these changes.
I think it would be really nice if the druid forms fur looked exactly like your skin colour; For example I would like my snowy white worgen to have a snowy white cat form!
It used to be like that before. The fur color reflected the color of your hair, but I don’t think they should backpedal on this particular decision because that’d rob us of options instead of giving us more, which is what we want. More customization, more freedom across all the races able to be druids. It’s just because not necessarily everyone want their forms to resemble their look as a humanoid, so locking the forms to colors in this manner is not a good idea imo.
That’s true, but they don’t really need to tether the colors of the forms to the colors of your toon’s hair. They can simply add green to the existing spectrum while allowing us the freedom to pick whichever appearance we want, all the forms independent of each other. I can assure you that restricting the players’ choices like this again will spark an outcry.
