I want to suggestion an option to change the armor of the mounts. If different styles are not an option atleast add different colours of the same model of the current mount. Also allow the removal of the armor. Some of the mounts look better without it.
Also why not add a spell effect when summoning the mounts? I love the red glow which has the Court sinrunner horse.
mount combat aswell and costomaizing hunter pets aswell .
Really? Like there isnt enough to choose from with the bazillion mounts in this game? That would be a waste of dev resources imho

I would like a toggle on/off for flying on forced flying mounts… I brought that up wayy before final fantasy players, but it got ignored… maybe this time? I like jumping more sometimes 
Having a mount with options could be quite cool really. There’s this disguise you can wear in Maldraxxus at the House of Rituals that has various unlocks that adds to the appearance of your disguise (dagger, shoulders etc) - maybe they could do something like that? But with a toggle.

I’ve always loved the idea of customizing saddles on mounts
If this is about something like the Minecraft horse armor, sure, not a bad idea. Question is, how to fit these on some very odd or inconventional mounts like the hand mounts, flying carpets or flying machines

I think it would be a nice idea to add some bling to the mounts. Barding, Saddlebags (ooo especially if you can store stuff in it), different reins etc…
I disagree with your statement. It is not a waste. Some saddels just don’t match the colour tone of the mounts. And some armors are just god awful looking
Taking off that godawfull horned helm from the undead dragons… would be nice
I dont think that’s doable on existing mounts, but if new mounts in the future get coded specifically for it that would be pretty cool.
Sounds like it would be an awfully big job TBH. You’d have to do all the mounts to make it fair or else just create a new mount with customizable options…but then you would never be able to create a mount that everybody loved.
I thought they did do them, they’re called store mounts.
they can start just creating one base mount for each race ( nightsaber for NE, horse for humans, wolf for orcs etc etc) each one with customizable parts.
it can be tied to quests, and possibly professions.
In gw2 you can dye your mounts, i like that system, can make the mount match my armour 
imagon to modify ur RX rocket to have a 3rd seat so 3 peoples can sit on it
Yeah but thats one (ugly) mount and very limited colours compared to the gw2 system 
i dont think it will ever be a thing in wow, just saying i like the dye system in gw2
About the carpets I have 0 ideas as Blizzard would never allow us to dye them. About the saddles it is simple. You don’t attach a horse one to a drake.Each mount family has it’s own type. Blizzard should make different designs and colours of the armour and saddles. Also allowing the full removal. Some mounts like the gray bat from legion are better looking naked
