He was right. Daelin was a fundamentally good man, who deeply loved his family and his homeland. He had witnessed the atrocities of the Old Horde, so he refused to believe that such monsters could ever atone for their sins. And he was right. Thrall is an outlier, he was raised by humans. All orcs are vile creatures inherently driven by rage and lust for battle. MoP proves that. WoD proves that. BfA proves that.
Jaina was naive, she was a spoiled student who never witnessed the horrors of war. She deluded herself into thinking there could be peace with the orcs, and what was her reward? A nuke. But she got the memo, eventually.
“I understand more than you suspect, my dear. Perhaps in time, you will too.”
“I’m listening now, father.”
Also this expansion opens with these very words: “My father once told me that peace was like a dream. Beautiful. Ephemeral. Unattainable.”

Bad writing. Jaina in Warbringers was very badass, she warned the Horde not to EVER underestimate her. At the Battle of Dazar’alor, she delivers swift justice upon the Zandalari curs. But of course no one can stand against Metzen’s boy.

I don’t really disagree on this and never have.
Believe it or not some people, generally very social people, find casual touching to just be friendly and comforting. I personally scream if anyone goes near me and shoot laser beams but apparently it is normal all these handshakes and arm touches and hugging. Bleh!

I don’t remember I saw Jain touch anyone before this one so we can say it is normal for Jaina.
When you see the camera zoom on this touch you will understand that this touch is more than just a normal touch that writer wanted it and it is bad for Jaina character.
Wrong doing of Daelin? Na.
Daelin is just the WoW equivalent of that one really racist grandparent you have.
