Daily reminder to nerf hemotoxin

this madness can not continue

friendly reminder it was nerfed

it no longer stacks with other healing debuffs

you can barely call this a nerf,
hemotoxin needs proper nerfing

There’s no nerfing hemotoxin tbh. It’s a 35% healing reduction, so 10% above classic MS. They’ll either delete it altogether or keep it but I don’t see a nerf happening. (Mind you I’m not defending assa whatsoever)

It never did. That isn’t what was changed. Sigh

ah sorry i miss read the ability

  • Developer’s note: The Wound Poison (from Deathmark) healing reduction effects appear mechanically similar to many others, but were stacking with other such effects and each other in a way that was not clearly communicated to players, and yet was having a significant impact on which specializations were being favored and often overperforming in PvP. We are standardizing their behavior to follow the same rules as similar effects.

… yeah i guess we should nerf the hematoxin then … kekw

They have to remove 1 stack and or increase the CD to it like sharpen and pshfiend (both 45sec CD).

In any case, since I see so many people complain about Shiv specifically, please, would anyone be able to tell us all right there the ACTUAL effects of the ability in the game ? As in, when an Assassination Rogue presses Shiv, what happens exactly ? In terms of damage, healing reduction and everything. Compared to when Shiv isn’t up.

I dare hope that with so many people crying, making clickbait videos about it etc, surely many people could give me the answer ?

Oh and by the way, my opinion on the matter is that the honor talent should be removed, both because it is a slight uneeded edge, and because it would make everyone finally shut it despite being a very minor nerf.

Shiv when pressed does little damage but boost all the nature damage you do to that target of 20% For 8 sec.

Oh sorry , i didnt see it was you . I kneel before you master rogue. :pray:t2:

Hemotoxin in pvp is a healing reduction effect at 35% that for 8 sec replaces the normal healing reduction of 4% per stack, 5 stacks if you spec it. So 20%
If you think of hemotoxin not as an healing reduction, and instead see it as 15% more damage you have to heal through, you could say hemotoxin is a 8 sec 15% damage boost. Is that strong? Yes it is.
Madness? Hardly. There are other abilities out there of equal strength.

However, seeing how rogues overperform, replacing hemotoxin with a new pvp talent might do the trick.

So yeah, thats shiv. Not hemotoxin.

I can only assume the issue with Assa is the healing reduction. Damage-wise I don’t really see them doing DH level damage.

But for some reason I DP + UR the deathmark yet my healer still struggles to top me after 10 second.

I know one thing for sure though they need to remove or giga-nerf mind-numbing.

cant beat them , join them

it is close to permanent 15% more healing reduction thanks to 2 stacks if rogue even use that poison,
and rogue do not need to even use poison to reduce heal with that, can free talents or use different weapon poison
go heal maybe and you will learn

25 sec cooldown, 8 sec duration. How is that “close to permanent”? the 2 stacks does not recharge simultaniously, so it having 2 stacks is irrelevant.

Shiv should be a 1min cd or a 4sec duration to be in line with similar classes utilities.

shiv + hemotoxin + aoe shiv… are busted right now…

Mind-numbing is a giga troll also… Removing players haste passivly is a joke.

Wound Poison is 24 % talented, not 20 %. So Hemotoxin gives 11 % additional healing reduction for the duration.

11 % healing reduction is not the same thing as 11 % increased damage in PvP, unless you are playing a training dummy simulator.

Lvling assa now while timewalk ?

Shiv should be removed or moved to arms only

Problem is they sped up dampening in DF too, hemotoxin arguably shouldn’t even exist if the dampening is going to be like this
