Daily Reminder to remove Challenger's Peril

I’ll keep this short since the affix is just objectively the worst one ever designed in the game.

Dying is already very punishing in M+ because on top of having to run back, you also lost all your cooldowns and the packs reset their HP.

You’re cultivating a toxic environment in M+ with this affix where even a single wipe can deplete a key and tilt people to the point of raging.

Wake up already, this is a game that people play to have fun, this isn’t the Olympics.

If you are actually posting this daily, then thanks for the heads-up. I can start reporting you for spamming.

It’s my first post about this.

Your reply is really cringe though and doesn’t contribute anything meaningful to the game.

Your post is cringe and you have stated in the title that this is a daily reminder. Which implies that you are planning to post the same thing every day.

As if this post contributes anything to the game’s development, don’t make me chuckle.

I gave feedback on why the affix is bad.

Refrain from posting here further because you’re just a mad random who seeks drama for no reason.

Aawww, don’t get soggy for me here. There’s always that easy solution for basically all of your problems: Growing up.

It will start happening once you hit puberty.

I completely agree. This affix is one of the main reasons I dislike this season so much. It’s ridiculous that a system overhaul can have such a huge negative impact on both the community and the expansion. A strong community is essential for a great game, yet this season seems to encourage poor behavior in PUGs. Too many players leave keys after just one death, which happened far less in Dragonflight.

The divide between hardcore and casual players could easily be addressed with a few simple adjustments. Here are some changes I think would improve the situation:

  1. Remove Challenger’s Peril entirely, or at least push it up to +12.
  2. Introduce Gilded Crest at +7.
  3. Offer Mythic Vault rewards from +8 keys.
  4. Complete 6 mythic+ dungeons for 3 vault slots. Doing 8 M+ every week is too time consuming.

These changes would allow casual players to gear up in a more relaxed way while still giving hardcore players the challenge they need to push higher keys and strive for their desired ratings.

Those are some good ideas.

I think removing Challenger’s Peril entirely though is the better choice since even a single death in very high keys is already extremely taxing.

Not sure why some people are pushing so hard to make the game less accessible to more people.

What about this? Nerf the affix by adding the following to it: Keep the additional time penalty but in case when players die they gain 200% additional movement speed until engaged in combat and all Cooldowns get reset after respawn. This way deaths still hurt but first it tones down the impact of running back to the front (in most cases) and second the group can continue immediately and doesn’t have to wait for the pull.

Should take your own Advice then.

being all like “Grow up” while getting angy about apperent spam.

Challengers peril has been the bane of most keys. Failing 10s by a minute and stuff. It’s a right nightmare.
