The quality of a sub based wotlk hosted by blizzard is below c-tier private servers that barely survive with a pop of 20.
I kinda feel sorry for the classic team for being understaffed and having no budget but come on.
Some 40 yo german dude managed to get a homebrew client and server running more smoothly.
Dear blizzard. Slap the guy that approved of the retail client. Introducing a client, that doesnt even support an mmorpg, for a mmorpg… how delusional was that person?
I’ve always said it since Classic was released; Blizzard treats Classic as a side project and is putting in minimum effort and resources in it.
But some people think otherwise.
To be honest Warmane is better scripted than this. They really don’t give a damn about this project. “Side” is even a big word. At this point Wrath Classic is probably just an inconvenience to them that they had promised us so now they “have” to deliver.
To be fair WoW private servers literally started with the Wotlk client and have had it since it’s release.
With Vanilla for example, it wasn’t until 2015
I remember that when I started the game, it was with the box that had vanilla and TBC discs and strategy guides and I must have been around level 40 or something and got chased around Badlands by a DK and I thought “I want to try that” and went to a private server to try out DK. Ended up buying it earlier than I needed to.

Im comparing it to sub c-tier servers like random polish/german ones.
give it 3 months if they don’t add RDF
