Quick question though, how would you like it to work for 2v2?
Would it be 100% RNG, or could you choose to queue with either a healer or a DPS?

Free wins for healer-dps above 1600 rating, + some classes are really not that good at playing double DPS.
Imagine queueing as warrior-hunter against something actually good.
Ppl ask for it, then when you ask how it will work, since comps matter a lot in arena, they have no idea what to say and the cycle repeats itself time to time.
I would like solo queue, it’s getting very tiresome waiting 2 hours, then playing 1 game, getting cursed out by the other player, and waiting another 2 hours to play 1 game again.

Have you even watched the video you linked? He hasn’t touched any comp diversity system at all.
Who cares? Literally every other competitive multiplayer game is using a solo que and it works.
Sometimes you good hand and sometimes you don’t. That’s a general problem for any solo que in any game and everybody knows this.
These people screaming ‘‘But meta coooomps…’’ It’s like they never played LoL or Overwatch or anything…

summary of the thread: i have no friends and want to play a team game that requires friends but i don’t want to interact with others i want a big red queue button to do this randomly for me and make sure i don’t make the slightest social interaction, complaint #18181727.
the reason there is no solo queue for rated arena is the same reason there is no solo queue for mythic raid or mythic keystone. you are the problem if you play a mmorpg and refuse to socialize, network and get friends to play with and your sense of entitlement is completely unwarranted. if you don’t want to make any effort to progress in the actual content of the game (and its progression is its through its social aspect) it’s your fault and a big red queue buttton won’t change anything.
your solution is not solo queue it’s organizing yourselves and putting actual effort to meet and find partners and actually play the game.
the only valid complaint is that the LFG tool could use more quality of life features.

This argumant is very stupid because in lfg tool only social interaction is to check pvp achievements and click button are you high? what social interaction are you even talking about? You can talk to people from soloque too …
Also keep your elitist 3v3 bracket and give us soloque 2v2 this will not affect you at all.

This would be a fair point unless you realise the big catch 22 of WoW PvP
When starting out you cannot get into groups since you have no experience, people will only play with people that have the achievements and are already networked.
People aren’t asking for SoloQ to replace the already existing brackets, people just want the opportunity to make those friends in the first place.
If you don’t think people would add eachother and play premade 2s or 3s if they find someone in SoloQ that they play well with and win a lot with you are dumber than dirt.
You honestly think people who play any other competetive game at the highest level of play met their first teams by making an ad on their forums? No. They played on ladder and found people they mesh with.
SoloQ ladder is literally the premier way to meet both people you don’t mesh with and people you do.

Exactly. When skirmish was a thing in the past and not clowfiesta we have now i made some friends here…its so much easier being social with less stress and pressure involved.
I also dont get what they talking about when they mention social interaction in lfg tool…i mean clicking check pvp or accept button is hardcore social interaction ofc
